The Clinton Foundation is a slush fund that should be shuttered immediately.

That’s the growing consensus among many influential voices on both sides of the aisle, as newly released emails have surfaced displaying what Donald Trump called a “pay-to-play” operation.

Watchdog group Judicial Watch released 725 newly obtained documents that show email exchanges between Huma Abedin, Clinton’s top aide, and Doug Band, a Clinton Foundation executive, giving donors expedited access to Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state.

Basically, donors who wrote fat checks bought influence and direct access within the highest echelons of our government.

The very groups liberals routinely attack: big corporations, millionaires, billionaires, Wall Street, Big Oil and foreign nations that oppress women and gays have all donated massive wads of cash to the Clinton Foundation.

Did Hillary Clinton refuse the fat checks from groups that “Don’t Speak to Her Values?” Fat chance.

And, to think, there are Democrats who despise Citizens United for allowing corporations and one-percenters to buy influence in U.S. political elections. The stark reality is if you think big banks, millionaires and billionaires buying influence in elections is shady, that’s tiddlywinks compared to Gulf nations who commit heinous human rights violations and who have donated mega-millions to the Clinton Foundation.

To date, the Clinton Foundation has raked in at least $2 billion, almost half of which came from foreign entities.

Here’s how it works: You write big checks to the Clinton Foundation and you get special treatment.

As Judicial Watch reports: “The Abedin emails reveal that the longtime Clinton aide apparently served as a conduit between Clinton Foundation donors and Hillary Clinton while Clinton served as secretary of state. In more than a dozen email exchanges, Abedin provided expedited, direct access to Clinton for donors who had contributed from $25,000 to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.

“Included among the Abedin-Band emails is an exchange revealing that when Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain requested a meeting with Secretary of State Clinton, he was forced to go through the Clinton Foundation for an appointment,” Judicial Watch added.

Six figures were donated by Bahrain and the meeting happened within 48 hours. Come Nov. 8, voters will decide if good old-fashioned values matter: honesty, trust and integrity.
