It’s a simple question. House Speaker John Boehner has said that America is broke. We spend more than we take in, and we will continue to do it for the foreseeable future. However, Democrat Steny Hoyer, Nancy Pelosi’s chief crony, says we’re not broke. He just says we need to use our resources to get us back to being fiscally sound. Hello! We are using more resources than we have!

So… tell me… how does one use our resources to "get us to a place" where we are a "fiscally sound nation" when we are spending more than we take in? Doesn't cutting spending make sense? Isn't that what a household would do? Why is that so hard for people like Hoyer to understand?
