(There is a scene in Battle Of The Bulge where Telly Savalas’ explains to a new tank crew member, what all the contraband and mail bags were doing piled on the tank. The rookie asks if Savalas is making the men pay for their mail? “No. They’d never go for it…But keep those good ideas coming.” )
