THough the markets are doing reat.. how does that translate into PEOPLE doing great? Are they seeing a bumper pay rise (doubt it)? More cash in their pockets (again doubt it)?
A lot of this is businesses gearing up for the massive tax cuts Trump is pushing. When they actually pass, expect the Dow to go into 6 digits. Seriously.
As for all this wealth only benefiting the wealthy, how about those of us who own retirement investment accounts? Anyone smart would buy now.
Anyone dumb enough to believe the liberal lies about tax cuts only helping the wealthy, pleas stay out of the stock market and miss this golden opportunity. Then once you’ve missed the boat on this extremely predictable event, you can retain your cherished position as one of the few who really didn’t benefit from the economic bull market. Self-fulfilling prophecy trophy unlocked!
Because it’s better to remain a poor and stupid victim the rest of your life while clinging bitterly to the liberal lies. If you put on a red MAGA hat you might make something of yourself and lose your precious victimhood. Wouldn’t want that.
It’s worth noting that when asked, businesses responded resoundingly that taxes were the #1 reason they weren’t hiring. America is doing pretty well despite the extremely burdensome and punitive tax code. Cut that down to a reasonable rate and businesses will hire. They will expand. The big problem will be not enough workers.
Jobs will insource from China and India. Once the math changes enough, it no longer makes sense to outsource. High-paying jobs will return to the USA and fast.
And there’s your immigration reform as well. If you can speak English, don’t have a criminal record, and promise to work, we’ll have jobs. When we exceed the capacity for American citizens to fill all those jobs we’ll need immigrants (real ones not invaders).
Otherwise those extra jobs will outsource to Mexico. We’re talking about millions of jobs here.
And this means a much larger tax base, and far fewer people on Welfare. Expect the federal government to turn a surplus early on. Use that money to offer training for former Welfare recipients. The fewer Welfare bums the better. Make it an easy choice for them.
A very nice thought but we still have an obstructionist Congress to deal with.
And until we get rid of all the schmcks in office imo we always will have an obstructionistc congress.
