Ex-United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley is slamming former President Donald Trump, saying that “we shouldn’t have followed him.”
Her comments came in an interview with Politico conducted after the Capitol riot, but before impeachment proceedings.
“We need to acknowledge he let us down,” she said. “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”
She believes Trump will find “himself further and further isolated.

I said it before, on this forum, that Nikki Haley is nothing but a deep state RINO. I took a lot of flake for saying it! Haley is testing the waters, to run for President, so she wants to bash Trump!

Nikki, this is not a good way to start your campaign for the presidency in 2024. The people who count have long memories. Most of us (I think that’s an accurate statement) still believe that illegal voting (especially by mail-in ballots) is what defeated Trump. Mail-in ballots in most states were changed illegally by other than the state legislatures. That’s the definition of illegal voting. If that doesn’t get corrected, America will be a one party nation within two election cycles. The Dems will not stop at the presidential vote; they will aim at House and Senate races too. Of course we’ve got the machine problem as well, and it’s hard to believe there wasn’t cheating there too. Good luck in beating that system, Nikki. I admired you as Secy at the UN, but you need a course correction now. I’m by no means a Trump worshiper, but I’d like to see a strong leader with similar policies.

The Democrat ads will go something like this: “Nikki Haley followed the president even though she knew what he was doing was wrong. In some ways there is still a lot of time between now and the 2024 presidential primary season. Once the impeachment trial is over Donald Trump will be able to begin prepping for 2024 however that is going to look for him. By time we get to 2024 it is likely people on both sides of the aisle are going to realize the nation made a huge mistake electing Joe Biden as president. President Trump may be seen as the best person to fix the bungles of the Biden/Harris years.
Donald Trump has defeated a lot of career politicians. Nikki and other career politicians may find in 2024 that he can still defeat them. I have seen a lot of people who are still solidly behind Donald Trump. That may not change.
