West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin says removing Sens. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., and Ted Cruz, R-Texas, over their objections to the 2020 presidential election results should be “a consideration.”
In an interview Friday on PBS’s “Firing Line,” Manchin said the senators’ insistence on objecting to Pennsylvania’s Electoral College votes even after supporters of President Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol was “totally unconscionable” and triggering the 14th Amendment is now an option.

You really need to listen to this PBS interview if you think Joe Manchin is a moderate.
Keeping in view Ted Cruz can recite the entire Constitution from memory…and given the IQ of Manchin of 12 and 1/2 … who probably can’t even spell Constitution… I think Cruz will eat his lunch and spank him in the hearings. What a useless jackass.

Typical Liberal attempts to hide the real cause of the protest and what would never have happened, had the interest of 74 million people would have been properly addressed, namely the cause of summer violence, ignored or approved by Ocasio and her squad, that brought on the more than equal and opposite response of the January 6th violence. So how does a Senator in Legal debate, whose free speech is protected and his person legally immune from arrest on his way to and from Congressional duties to debate, trigger the 14th amendment? Their speeches requested an investigation, not a rebellion who origin began months ago in ANTIFA and BLM riots. This Alinsky motivated tactic is More Progressive punishing pablum for the masses to digest, that diverts attention from the failed Democrat leaders of criminal evil intent to corrupt and cancel valid votes, the true reflection of their intent to cancel our culture, and American justice as well. What they attempt to promote will only enlarge the defiance of their tyranny and quest to silence the opposition “By any Biden means necessary.”
Well, how about removing all those Dems who urged their constituents to violence….. starting with Maxine Waters. And lets add all those who refused, for 4 years, to accept the legitimacy of President Trumps victory over Clinton.

Munchkin is Still a Swamp Creature above anything else. Conservatives have been placing too much confidence in this DemocRAT because of his rare attempts at reasoning. His recent attack on Cruz and Hawley means he is showing where he actually stands. He is like his Party—–Marxist Communist!

Am I missing something? The 14th Amendment grants citizenship to post Civil War slaves “born or naturalized” in the United States.. What does that have to do with Constitutionally objecting to Electoral College votes?
Manchin has in mind: “Section 3
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.” This of course, has nothing to do with what Manchin disagrees with Cruz and Hawley about. It should be applied to, for example, John Kerry, who as an officer took an oath and aided the enemy.
We the people put Ted & Joshua in office not you idiots. We alone will take them out and right now they are some of the few honest men we can trust left in the senate. They could see what was really happening.

If he wants Cruz out is he also going to call for all the Democrats who called for violence to be ousted and then all those who challenged the electoral college vote in 2017 (at least seven Democrats who did that are still in office)?
