What would you do if you wanted America to fail? It’s an interesting question, and for those out there who misguidedly think Barack Obama is here to help, think again. With policy after policy, Obama and his administration are chipping away at the American dream and American lifestyle. In fact, they are trying to make us feel guilty for having the dreams in the first place.
Here’s a stunning contrast for you. As reported by The Hill, Obama is poised to make global warming a key issue in the 2012 campaign. Remember global warming? The issue in which so-called “scientists” have been found to fake results? The issue in which the scores of scientists who debunk the left’s idea of global catastrophe are excluded from media coverage? The issue which is so close to Al Gore’s heart, yet he has spent $30,000 on his home utility bills? Yes, that issue.
“I suspect that over the next six months, this is going to be a debate that will become part of the campaign, and I will be very clear in voicing my belief that we’re going to have to take further steps to deal with climate change in a serious way,” Obama told Rolling Stone magazine in a newly published interview.
Obama’s comments follow a first term that saw global warming legislation collapse in Congress but several administrative steps to address climate proceed, such as tougher auto mileage rules and first-time greenhouse gas standards for new power plants.
“Part of the challenge over these past three years has been that people’s No. 1 priority is finding a job and paying the mortgage and dealing with high gas prices. In that environment, it’s been easy for the other side to pour millions of dollars into a campaign to debunk climate-change science,” Obama said.
The article goes on to report that Obama said, “We’re going to continue to push on energy efficiency, and renewable energy standards, and the promotion of green energy. But there is no doubt that we have a lot more work to do.” No doubt is correct. Obama will not stop. And let’s be clear about one thing. This is NOT about protecting the environment. It’s about chopping down America in an effort to make the country second rate and the people more dependent on government.

I don’t want America to fail. I’m sure you don’t either. But if our country goes under, it will be our fault… not the left’s, since we are the ones who stood by and did nothing.
