Unfortunately its not just liberals that are to blame. Its also apathetic conservatives that are to blame cause for too long we have just stood by and LET THIS happen…How many times have we heard this or that news report, about 30+ people who stood BY AND watched a woman get raped, or an old person getting beaten up, and not a one did anything but pull out their cell phones and video it, just so they could POST it online. NOT TO give to the cops so they could hunt down the perps later…

ALL TOO OFTEN. AND too my POV we have condoned it by NOT CALLING for the arrest of everyone of those lowlifes who just DID THE standing around and gawked…

My church has Facebook pages but anything that can possibly be interpreted as political is forbidden speech there.

As soon as they said that I knew it was not a page where I would be welcomed. It’s not that I can’t avoid the topic but it’s because of their attitude. They really need to shake off the political correctness and proclaim the morality of God in the public square.

In a church with hundreds of members there are very, very few comments on their pages.

Snowy, my friend, I think it might be time to shop around for a different Church or to join the Church council and start demanding that they stand up. I’m not one to advocate leaving a Church for silly squabbles, but when a Church avoids Biblical issues which definitely intersect with politics, that Church has left the will of God and is no longer salt or light.

This “spectator” mentality is a sign of the times. If the people “viewing” it on FACEBOOK had been present as eyewitnesses at the killing, they’d have been pulling out their smart phones and making videos of the whole thing–not using the damned phones to call 911.

This is the SNOWFLAKE generation–completely self-involved. The universe ONLY exists to revolve around them, and other people only matter in whether they affect them or not. “Triggering” the little darlings by saying something that makes them uncomfortable or disagrees with their brainwashed leftist views is a CRIME in their eyes.

Somebody being murdered in front of them? Meh. Not MY concern–but it’ll impress my friends if I video it and post it on my Instagram/Twitter/Facebook (insert the social media outlet of your choice) account.

I really fear for this country, when these “people” are in charge as “leaders.”

I agree. The sit back watch and do nothing mentality is imo worse than just posting it on farcebook or youtube.. AS they imo should be done as accessories.

Sorry, but when you have 40+ people standing around, circling up around 3 people beating up one other, and NOT A ONE of those 40 does anything, such as cal 9/11, or try to stop it, IMO THEY ARE ALL as guilty as the 3 perps doing the beatings..

AND IMO until we start seeing DA’s and such actually g after the bystanders (though not sure for what right now), I feel it will just keep getting worse and worse..

Facebook needs to be held accountable for things such as this posted on that website. Obviously, I am not in the Facebook community! I don’t have that uncontrolled urge to gossip.
