Donald Trump’s long-anticipated new social media platform, Truth Social, is expected to launch on President’s Day.

As reported by the New York Post, Truth Social, which Trump announced in October, is the latest conservative alternative to Big Tech giants like Twitter and Facebook – many of which have embarked on a right-wing witch hunt over the last year.

The new app is being launched by Trump Media and Technology Group and can be pre-ordered before its anticipated release date. A source familiar with the matter confirmed the target launch date.

Per the app store listing, users can share their “unique opinion by posting a TRUTH, Re-TRUTH, photo, news story or video link to communicate with [their] friends, customers, and the world.”

“Stay informed about breaking news while staying directly connected with the people who influence you – don’t be shocked if they take your TRUTH viral!” the listing reads.

The platform will feature a feed, similar to other social media platforms, with posts from other users.

“We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. This is unacceptable,” Trump said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon.”

Trump Media and Technology Group is also expected to release a subscription-based, on-demand video service, TMTG+, which will feature “‘non-woke’ entertainment programming, news, podcasts, and more.”
