An interesting battle sprang up between two victim groups in Toronto over the last weekend.

It was a parade organized for one of the self-proclaimed most marginalized groups in all of Canada – or the world, if you listen to them. In the middle of the parade, this was this chant: “Black lives they matter, hey.”

Was this an African-American pride parade? No, it was Toronto’s “gay pride” parade. The city’s Black Lives Matter movement was invited as the “honored group” for the parade – then returned the favor by shutting it down for about 30 minutes with a list of demands from the gays.

Black Lives Matters organizer Alexandria Williams spoke with CBC News. “Today we held Pride accountable for their anti-blackness, for their anti-indigeneity, for the fact that we have been pushed to the margins way too long,” she said.

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality says he finds it “sort of interesting to see the forces of intolerance drowned out by another force of intolerance.”

He adds that it appears homosexual activists are getting a dose of their own medicine. “I think that’s a comeuppance that perhaps the radical homosexual lobby deserves,” says the family advocate. “And I think more and more we’re going to see the Left at war with itself.”

According to LaBarbera, it’s a conflict that’s inevitable.

“All the victim groups are going to start warring against each other because there’s only so much victimhood to pass around – which is probably why we see all these phony hate crime hoaxes being perpetrated by the left,” he concludes.
