I know what you’re thinking. It will be a cold day in hell before those on the left, including the media, turn on their beloved Barack Obama, right? Well take a look at what’s happening all over the country. The Obamacare nightmare that was predicted from the beginning has now become reality, and liberals are beginning to notice.
CBS got into the Obamacare criticism during their “This Morning” program. As noted by HotAir.com, Jan Crawford said on the air that the launch of Obamacare was “nothing short of disastrous.”
HotAir.com even throws a little credit to the New York Times for starting to dig into the Obamcare fiasco:
Give the New York Times some credit for reporting this, though. Only fourteen newspapers this morning have any stories at all on the ObamaCare exchange, and most of those have to do with the shutdown talks ongoing in Congress.
Now let’s step away from the media for just a bit and head to another liberal bastion: The University of Colorado — Boulder. The Blaze reports that students on campus were recently asked who is to blame for the current government shutdown. The answers were quite surprising:
One student summed it up best: Obamacare is stupid. What’s interesting is that a number of the students in the video acknowledge that they are part of liberal institution, yet they can see what’s going on in Washington quite clearly.
And now back to the media where even CNN’s Wolf Blitzer has called for a delay to the implementation of Obamacare. (Hey Wolf… how about an outright repeal?) As reported by Mediaite.com, Blitzer went off on the glitches that are plaguing the Obamacare web site:
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer said at the end of a Situation Room segment on Wednesday afternoon that the Obama administration should consider a one-year delay on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate in order to get the health care exchange websites functioning properly.
“A week into it, still a lot of glitches,” CNN correspondent Brian Todd reported to Blitzer. “People not able to create accounts, just to get information to possibly enroll, much less not being able to enroll in the plan.”

Obamacare is a complete mess, and it’s no wonder even the media are taking notice. As reported by the Weekly Standard, only 5 people in Iowa have signed up for Obamacare so far.
In Hawaii, not a single person has signed up!
The insurance exchange — a key component of President Barack Obama’s federal health care overhaul — hasn’t been able to sell any insurance in Hawaii because of problems with the software at the heart of the marketplace. Consumers can’t see plans, even though a variety of options from two insurers have been approved to be sold by the state’s insurance division.
If the Republicans can get a clue, they can actually come out on top of this Obamacare / government shutdown debate. Obamacare is a money pit that Americans never wanted. The government can’t even implement it. Barack Obama is acting like a spoiled child… cutting services that he feels like cutting while he keeps his favorite golf club open. It’s bad out there, and if liberals are even taking notice, then there is an opportunity to fight for what’s right. We just can’t give up or roll over.
