In today’s fiercely, contentious political world, it is important to not always believe what you hear; it’s best to make your own observations.
How I see President Trump is completely opposite of how he is portrayed to the public and people’s preconceived notions. President Trump has proven to be genuine, relatable and has an undeniable connection with the American people. He is most in his element and truly enjoys being with average Americans – whether it be a small gathering or many thousands at a rally. He has an unbelievable ability to connect with one person the same way he can with 20,000. Every smile, wave and hand gesture is genuine – he makes everyone feel special and important in his presence.
President Trump understands the challenges that hardworking, patriotic citizens struggle with everyday. President Trump’s incredible ability to put himself in other people’s shoes further strengthens his connection with everyday Americans. The hope and optimism of the American people invigorates the President and serves as a reminder of who he is fighting for. Americans love the opportunity of getting to see this larger-than-life man that is achieving larger-than-life accomplishments for this country and for them.
President Trump is the right combination of the two most important qualifications to be the President of the United States – the ability to lead the country, and equally as important, good, solid character. These are not mutually exclusive; they must both exist for a successful presidency.
First, President Trump’s ability should never be questioned. With his abounding passion and patriotism, President Trump has accomplished more than any other U.S. president in his first four years. His dedication and strong work ethic clearly show his love for this country and the American people, which is the driving force behind everything he does. He makes decisions carefully in a clear and well-thought-out manner by humbly considering all options with an open mind, asking for many opinions and welcoming disagreements in order to hear all sides. This is a sign of a true leader whose ultimate goal is to make the best decision for the greater good.
Second, the unrelenting attacks and slander of President Trump’s character, since the moment he announced he was running for president, are unfair and could not be further from the truth. President Trump is a man of his word and every promise he made, has been a promise he has kept. Most politicians promise a lot and fail to follow-through. President Trump actually accomplished more than he promised by adding, for example, the sixth branch of the U.S. military – the Space Force.
President Trump’s relationship with his five children speaks volumes about the type of man he is. The loyalty, love and support they give one another is truly rare and highly admirable. It’s amazing to see the whole family step-up and work hard to support their father because they believe in him and his ability to help this country.
The obvious question is, how could someone who has achieved so much success and wealth give all of that up in order to dedicate his life to serve the American people? President Trump put aside his life and his family’s life so that he could fight for working-class Americans that have been ‘lost and forgotten.’ He also had to put a stop to our country sliding further away from our founding principles and core values. Additionally, America was losing respect around the world and other countries were taking advantage of us through trade, military protection, etc.
President Trump was the right leader at the right time to save this great land that serves as a shining example of hope and opportunity for the world. Although President Trump has been unable to spend much time with his family, he is committed to doing this job for their future as well as all of our futures. I can’t think of more compelling evidence of President Trump’s self-sacrifice than giving up his invaluable family time and previous luxurious life, donating his presidential salary to various causes and his willingness to use his own money towards his campaign.
President Trump whole-heartedly loves America. He honors and respects our country’s past and works tirelessly every day for a better tomorrow. We are fortunate as a nation to have a leader who is willing to give up so much and dedicate his life to Making America Great Again.
