A group of republican lawmakers in Georgia is seeking to remove all Coca Cola Company products from their offices after the beverage giant’s top executive railed against the state’s new election law.
Eight state House representatives sent a letter to Kevin Perry, president and CEO of the Georgia Beverage Association, asking that the products be removed from their offices following Coca Cola’s participation in the campaign to “cancel” their state.
They blasted the move as an attempt to mislead Georgians and further divide the state.
“We have the responsibility to all of Georgia to not engage in those misguided intentions nor continue to support corporations who choose to,” the letter reads. “Given Coke’s choice to cave to the pressure of an out-of-control cancel culture, we respectfully request all Coca-Cola Company products be removed from our office suite immediately.”
They added that they would reconsider their relationship if the company decides to “read the bill, share its true intentions and accept their role in the dissemination of mistruths.”
Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey called the legislation a “step backward.”
“It does not promote principles we have stood for in Georgia around broad access to voting, around voter convenience, about ensuring election integrity,” he said. “This legislation is wrong and needs to be remedied.”
This spat comes amidst heavy pressure on America’s corporations to take sides when it comes to election integrity and voting rights – and frankly all things political.
Georgia’s new law has drawn major criticism from democrats, who argue that the law is racist as it would impact minority groups’ access to voting, according to the Epoch Times. Meanwhile, Georgia officials say the law aims to ensure election integrity and legal votes, and includes provisions to expand voting access.
The law makes several changes to the state’s voting procedures, including requiring photo or state-approved identification to vote absentee, mandating secure drop boxes be placed inside early voting locations with constant surveillance and expanding early voting.
After the bill passed, executives from a slew of large corporations like Coca-Cola, Citibank and Delta Airlines have openly bashed the state. Even Major League Baseball moved its All-Star Game and 2021 draft out of Atlanta as punishment.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Coke has gone woke, as the company has become increasingly political.
In February, they forced their employees to participate in an online training video by antiracist activist Robin DiAngelo that preached “try to be less white.”
“Nothing exempts any white person from the forces of racism.” DiAngelo says. “When you accept the reality of your socialization, you can begin to examine how you’ve been shaped by it.”
The video explicitly told employees how to be “less white.”
Be less oppressive
Be less arrogant
Be less certain
Be less defensive
Be less ignorant
Be more humble
Break with apathy
Break with white solidarity

Nothing refreshes like a cold glass of…..B.S.
Just make your product. Coca-Cola does NOT “stand for” anything but a particular line of soft drinks. If they do insist that they be regarded as a standard bearer for misinformation I can continue to avoid all Coca-Cola products.
EVERY gop governmental agency should do the same.
ALSO CEASE FLYING with Delta
Cease doing business with AMEX.. and DO ALL THEY CAN TO shun everyone of those woke companies doing this boycott…
Coca Cola is black in color, so obviously Coca Cola is “not White”. So Coca Cola, not being “White”, is racist.
That move should be considered for all state and local facilities – there are alternatives, of course to every one of their products, The State can order no flights on Delta, American and United for anyone on State business and make the notification the State will no longer reimburse anyone using AMEX for State business expenses. And similarly for all supposedly 100 “woke” corporations. Why should these businesses be able to enjoy revenue from whom they are virtue-signaling against? Where are the backbones, spines, balls?
IT seems most businesses LOST THEIR SPINES years ago, when this woke nonsense started..
Apparently, I am too “white” to drink Coke. OK — no problem. My “white” wife love(d) Diet Coke and has ingested the stuff for about 60 years —- end of that story. Hopefully, Dr. Pepper behaves itself. Like Delta, Coke is big in Georgia — especially Hotlanta. Coke is also ESPECIALLY big in CHINA. There is only one way to handle the situation — send them to New York or Delaware even — somewhere that has less restrictive voting laws????. I have a funny feeling that Atlanta can make some cushy deals for other large corporations to take over some empty offices or airplane hangers with the proviso that they stay out of state politics.
Actually, I looked at the skin on my arms today — and found — that I am not white at all.
My general philosophy about people is that , “If you are a good person — I am good with you”. Pretty simple teaching from an early age. There is only one variable to contend with — goodness.
Dr pepper is a Pepsi product… So their support of LGBTQ agenda’s has made them off limits to me.
I always thought Dr. Pepper tasted like Pepper.
I switched to Pepsi for the time being lets hope Pepsi won’t become traitors and commies like Coke Cola !
TOO LATE.. They did a few years back, become one of the woke leaders..
