A border enforcement advocacy organization says it will defy anyone who comes up with a rational reason why we shouldn’t do any of the things Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump proposed in his immigration speech this week.

During his Wednesday night address in Phoenix, Arizona, the White House hopeful dispelled the myth that he is softening his stance on illegal immigration. He was described as coming on stage with guns blazing, making it clear that he intends to enforce U.S. immigration laws.

“Anyone who illegally crosses the border will be detained until they are removed out of our country and back to the country from which they came,” the billionaire told America in his speech.

Federation for American Immigration Reform(FAIR) Spokesman Ira Mehlman believes thateverything Trump said was just common sense.

“If anybody’s objecting, they should explain why immigration policy shouldn’t serve the national interest and interests of the American people,” Mehlman asserted.

He then challenged Americans to try and come up with logical reasons why they think Trump is off-base with wanting to look out for the best interests of his country.

“Why shouldn’t we secure our borders?” Mehlman asked. “Why shouldn’t we have systems in place that prevent illegal aliens from taking the jobs from the American people? Why should sanctuary cities protect criminal aliens? He can [explain] point by point, and I would defy anybody to come up with a rational reason why we shouldn’t do any of those things.”

Mehlman says while Americans have to live with the reality that there are always going to be people who get away with breaking our laws, we don’t have to capitulate to lawlessness.
