More than six weeks after Babbitt succumbed to a single gunshot wound to the upper chest, authorities are keeping secret the identity of the officer who fired the fatal round. They won’t release his name, and the major news media aren’t clamoring for it, in stark contrast to other high-profile police shootings of unarmed civilians.
The secrecy has fueled Internet reports misidentifying the shooter as a Capitol Police special agent previously commended by President Trump for bravery. The false rumors have triggered threats against the officer.

As a retired officer I question the killing of Ms.Babbitt.
The article is lying when they say it was a cop that shot her. It was a security staff member of a dummycrat that shot her and he SHOULD be hiding.
He should be in JAIL for murder. Not in hiding and still getting paid.
Probably Nancy’s or Chuck Schumers personal body guard shot her on one of their direct orders, so they keep sweeping the truth revealing investigation under the rug where the rest of the Democrat cockroaches and rat droppings can be found. Rumor has it Schumer was less than 25 feet away when it happened.
Also, why do they keep harping on the lie, ALL SEVEN DIED in relation to the riot? IIRC ONLY 4 were in direct relation. 3 were from an Unrelated crime.
The sniveling coward who killed this unarmed female veteran should be executed for first degree murder. Maybe WHITE LIVES MATTER could riot and burn down a few cities. Oh, that’s right, white lives don’t matter, and there is NO ONE standing up for them.
Smells bigly of cover-up. That was an opportunity planned in advance, no doubt – shoot somebody to make the incursion look way worse than it was. My first impression from seeing the first videos from the scene inside was “where are all the cops?” You see more uniformed cops there during normal visiting days, and you would expect way more cops when some huge demonstration is planned – like Million Man March, Pink ***** Protest, etc.
I honestly think, all the NORMAL cops were DELIBERATELY TOLD to stand down, just to ENSURE when the inevitable ‘rioters’ (antifa/blm) came, it would make things look WORSE than it was… ALL TO PAINT trump supporters in the harshest light possible.
There will be a big cover up, by the Department of No Justice, the FBI and the Capitol Police, with regard to the officer, who murdered Ashli Babbitt. Need I say more?

Good point, so you have to assume if no autopsy or inquest then there is a huge cover-up. Remember in Minneapolis last year within a week of the death of George Floyd, there was an autopsy plus the family was demanding more information and hired one of those celebrity forensic doctors for a second autopsy and it was in the news every day, day after day. Poor Ashley Babbitt is nearly history already after 6 weeks of no information. “Keep moving – nothing to see here” in the words of the Deep State.
That’s because she is WHITE, and the killer black.
IF THE ROLES were reversed, and SHE was black, while the killer was white, it wouldn’t MATTER that she was a ‘Trump supporter’. There’d be calls from all over, for justice to be done.
The officer should be interviewed, as is proper when a death occurs. He was doing his job, but than so have many who were railroaded by CNN, MSNBC,CBS, NBC, PBS, etc.in the shootings of Jacob Blake, Michael Brown, Breonna Taylor. Ashli’s death should be investigated. She was un-armed, she was as innocent as any officer’s caused shooting death, more so than many. Given that the BLM insurrectionist/activist John Sullivan was practically standing beside Ashli, and if I remember correctly said he heard someone shout “gun” right before the only shot rang out and killed Ashli, an investigation is more than required. Is the administration saying anyone they rush to judgement as being a terrorist can be shot without due process? Or are they saying it’s OK to shoot white men or women…sort of equity restitution.
The bottom line is she DIDN’T have to die. If she had been black, D.C. would still be on fire.
Are we 100% sure she is dead, I’ve seen too many places where people question a false flag, remember, so far there have been TWO SUICIDES AND A STROKE out of the SMALL world of police who were there, what are the odds? Remember who we are dealing with here, the deep state, the democrat party and all the left who have proven, beyond any doubt, they will do ANYTHING TO WIN. What are the odds, we have three murders, never forget the hrc string of suicides and murders.

What we saw I would think qualifies as premeditated murder. She was unarmed. He knew she was unarmed. She was behind a door. There were cops behind her, a lot of them with rifles. There is no reason to kill her. Maybe the antifa members already in there? He certainly had time to think and decide to be a cold blooded murderer. He should face the consequences.
Could ask her relatives. The democrats have a place to ask – The Mary Jo Kopechne house.
