The world figured it out right away, and now we know that Barack Obama and his team knew right away too. Despite its claims that the attack in Libya was just a spontaneous demonstration due to an Internet video, and that the murders of four Americans were not planned in advance, the Obama administration knew the truth: the killings in Libya were a terrorist act.
As reported by Fox News, U.S. intelligence officials knew within 24 hours of the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Libya that it was a terrorist attack and suspected Al Qaeda-tied elements were involved. Did you catch that? The intelligence community knew almost immediately what the Obama administration denied for days.
The account sharply conflicts with claims on the Sunday after the attack by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice that the administration believed the strike was a “spontaneous” event triggered by protests in Egypt over an anti-Islam film.
Two senior U.S. officials said that the Obama administration internally labeled the attack terrorism from the first day in order to unlock and mobilize certain resources to respond, and that officials were looking for one specific suspect. The officials said the intelligence community knew by Sept. 12 that the militant Ansar al-Shariah and Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb were likely behind the strike.
Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and others sure did paint a different picture of the events. Obama blasted the Internet video, Clinton said the attacks were not planned, and Obama dispatched his U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to the Sunday talk shows to pitch the Obama talking points. But now, as more information leaks out, the true story emerges.
The question to ask is “Why?” Why did Barack Obama lead a story line that he knew was false and misleading? Why?
Could it be that Obama just can’t bring himself to stand up to radical muslim terrorists? If that’s the case, then he has absolutely no business being president.
Could it be that he was negligent is keeping our embassies protected, especially during a crucial time like the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks? As reported by Politico.com, “The consulate where the American ambassador to Libya was killed on Tuesday is an ‘interim facility’ not protected by the contingent of Marines that safeguards embassies.” This is how we protect our ambassadors in the muslim world?
According to a report at Breitbart.com, the actions of Obama and Hillary Clinton directly led to the debacle at the consulate in Benghazi, Libya:
Fox News military analyst Colonel David Hunt told Breitbart News that “the rules of engagement have been changing drastically over the last 10 years. . . The reason the surge in Iraq worked was we had another 40,000 soldiers and the rules of engagement were changed to allow our guys to shoot. What’s happened in Libya is the final straw of political correctness. We allowed a contractor to hire local nationals as security guards, but said they can’t have bullets. This was all part of the point of not having a high profile in Libya.”
According to Hunt, the debacle at the American mission in Benghazi is directly the result of Obama’s new policies. “The policy of the Obama administration led to this,” he said.

Yet, with foreknowledge of the looming attacks that were going to occur, our Ambassador, J. Christopher Stevens was left unprotected without armed Marine troops, militant Islamists were reported on the US Libyan Embassy grounds inside the compound. After issuing just one of the many Obama administration apologies from America to any Muslims who were insulted by a You Tube film made by some small time producer, a vicious assault began inside the US Embassy in Libya.
CEOs and other executives often have an incompetence clause in their contract. This is complete and utter incompetence by Barack Obama and his team. Americans are dead, because Obama’s administration did not heed the warnings. Then, for almost two weeks, they claimed this was not a terrorist attack. Why cover up for radical muslim extremists?
