So Google did its annual survey to find out just how much more the evil men were getting paid at their company, and guess what? Men actually got paid less than women! How does that fit in the leftist narrative of gender inequality and wage disparity? Not very well. Let’s look at the facts. Something awesome happened along the way as Google journeyed on its social justice quest. In an effort to right the wrongs that women are systemically held back, that men are given unfair advantages, Google examined its salary practices.
Of course, what Google executives expected to find was that men are being paid more. Their plan was to use this data from the study to adjust wages and bring women’s salaries up to men’s. In other words, Google conducted their salary study to combat gender and wage inequality. But guess who was paid less?
