Former ambassador and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley’s latest comments regarding Donald Trump are raising eyebrows.
A couple of weeks after pointed criticism of the then-president’s comments before the Jan. 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol, Haley praised Trump in a tweet Sunday night, a couple of hours after the former president’s address at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), his first public appearance and speech since leaving the White House on Jan. 20.

Ex-United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley is slamming former President Donald Trump, saying that “we shouldn’t have followed him.”
Her comments came in an interview with Politico conducted after the Capitol riot, but before impeachment proceedings.
“We need to acknowledge he let us down,” she said. “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”

The only thing Trump did to “let us down” was to be bamboozled by the swamp at the CDC. Instead of trusting his instincts to de regulate over at CDC and to create a better plan for weathering the pandemic storm, he trusted Fauci and company (and the WHO) to lead us down a path of destruction. Fortunately, the changes he made to de-Washingonize the economy prior to the pandemic hoax allowed for rapid rebound when the restraints are again removed. As to Halley, she is deep down a politician, not a natural leader or a business woman. We will see if she learns a lesson in both policy and leadership.
HE also let us down, by continuing to LISTEN TO his so-called advisors, who KEPT TELLING HI TO nominate SWAMP HACKS to his cabinet… Such as Barr and sessions…
Haley has flip flopped, because she wants to run for President and her negative remarks toward Trump cost her, popularity wise. Now Haley is praising Trump. Hey Nikki, you cut your own throat, with your flip flopping, so you can forget about running for President. Haley is nothing but a phony like Mitt, Lindsey and Mitch!
The only thing she’s got that’s better than any of those other RINOS< is her good looks.

When she was not invited to the CPAC conference, she realized that she had made a HUGE mistake in judgment ! Her advisors told her to quickly “Change Gears” so that is what she did. Unfortunately for her, the damage to her reputation has already been done !

Establishment Republicans must be made an example of. If they come back into the fold, they come back on our terms.
And they must understand they will never be trusted or placed in a position of power.

I’ve always liked Governor Haley as a polite and interesting Conservative speaker and made a good Ambassador, but she made a BIG mistake when she removed Civil War monuments from the capitol grounds in SC. Destroying monuments to a nation’s history is always the ploy of Anarchists and Totalitarians. She should have explained that but didn’t, and now look what we have as a result.
It was a “nice” thing to do but not a wise thing to do. I’d like to see her get back into politics but not as President just yet anyway. Maybe a good time to run for Congress from SC. There I’d wish her well and believe it would be a very good thing for her and SC.
Too late, Nikki! You stabbed our president in the back and you are partly responsible for us getting stuck with a senile stupid old fool escapee from a nursing home along with is VP who runs the house of prostitution for DC. You are in the same league as McCain and Romney. Get out of politics and find another job.
