Despite touting himself as a green president for eight years in the fight against so-called “global warming,” formerPresident Barack Obama reportedly spared himself no creature comforts during a “climate change” event Monday in Italy, where he utilized his private jet, a security helicopter and 14 different cars for his grand entry.

Obama’s gigantic carbon footprint was ironically a prelude to his lecture on global warming and curbing pollutants at the “Seed & Chips: The Global Food Innovation Summit” held in Milan, Italy.

A beef with beef …

Failing to mention the emissions poured out by his entourage of vehicles, Obama exhorted those in attendance to curb their meat intake if they did not want to be responsible for inducing dangerously high temperatures leading to cataclysmic climate change.

“During the speech, Obama warned that a worldwide meat ration may be enforced by global powers to limit the amount of methane gas he says is causing the Earth to heat up,” Townhall reported.

Apparently trying to persuade Italians to give up their Italian sausage and meat-topped pizzas, Obama made an appeal to go vegetarian in order to save the planet.

“As people want to increase meat consumption, that in turn is spiking the growth of greenhouse emissions coming out of the agricultural sector,” the former president claimed, according to Townhall.

Obama proceeded to converse with his former chef, Sam Kass, about his fear over the alleged catastrophic impact that meat consumers could have on the planet.

“People aren’t as familiar with the impact of cows and methane, as people want to increase more meat consumption,” the 44th president told Kass, according to Breitbart.

He then tried to convince Kass that the number of cows in the world today are increasing global pollution, indicating that cow herds emit a great amount of unwanted methane gas.

“No matter what, we are going to see an increase in meat consumption,” Obama added, referring to developing economies such as China, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Obama followed up by stressing that more advanced nations – such as the United States and Italy – would have to teach people to “have a smaller steak” and find ways to reduce their meat intake, Breitbart reported. Next, he suggested that global residents will have to be weaned off of beef.

“What it does mean is that we’re also going to have to find ways to produce protein in a more efficient way,” the global politician impressed.

Engaging his chef once again in the conversation, Obama debated with Kass over the number of steaks he had cooked for him over the years. When Kass suggested that he had probably cooked “thousands of steaks” for Obama, the former president quickly interrupted him.

“I don’t think, thousands,” Obama charged in protest, as reported by Breitbart.

“Well hundreds maybe,” Kass reconsidered. “I’ve been cooking for you for 10 years.”

Obama then attempted to tiptoe around the fact that he had probably consumed more beef than most in attendance – and more than most global warming skeptics in America – for that matter.

“What is true is that I’m not a vegetarian,” Obama conceded – according to the conservative news outlet – before noting that he really “respected vegetarians,” but continued to be a meat consumer.

Going green … in the pocketbook

Obama then attempted to condemn voters for not putting people like himself into office who fleece billions of dollars from taxpayers to pay for global climate change initiatives that are not proven to work – initiatives that are reportedly based on debunked spiked global temperatures that were manipulated to push and fuel the multi-billion-dollar green agenda.

“People have a tendency to blame politicians when things don’t work, but as I always tell people, you get the politicians you deserve,” the former commander-in-chief insisted, Townhall reported. “And if you don’t vote and you don’t pay attention, you’ll get policies that don’t reflect your interest.”

A British daily reported that Obama made more than $3.26 million in proceeds from ticket sales for his personal Obama Foundation at the Milan climate change event that attracted a crowd of 3,500.

Earlier this year before leaving office in a last-ditch effort to throw more American taxpayer money into the climate change agenda before President Donald Trump took office, Obama’s State Department transferred another $500 million into a U.N.-affiliated global climate change fund that was often dubbed as a “slush fund” and a “handout to foreign bureaucrats” by congressional critics.

“The move [came] three days before the inauguration of a president, who pledged days before his election victory to ‘cancel billions in global warming payments to the United Nations’ and devote funds instead to ‘environmental infrastructure’ at home,” CNS News reported. “The $500 million [was] the second transfer to the Green Climate Fund, whose aim is to help developing countries reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adapt to occurrences blamed on climate change such as rising sea-levels and drought. Obama pledged $3 billion to the GCF over four years, and a first instalment, also $500 million, was paid [in] March [2016].”

Global farcing?

Heaping on more evidence that global warming is not a science, Obama’s former Energy Department Undersecretary Steven Koonin recently admitted that bureaucrats in the Obama administration spun scientific data to manipulate public opinion.

“What you saw coming out of the press releases about climate data, climate analysis, was – I’d say – misleading … sometimes just wrong,” Koonin told The Wall Street Journal late last month. “What they forgot to tell you – and you don’t know until you read all the way into the fine print – is that it actually decreased in the decades before that.”

The former undersecretary divulged that elements within the Obama administration should be held accountable for manipulating climate data to forward Obama’s global climate change agenda.

Evidently, Obama’s talk about wanting to make the planet green was more about making climate change alarmists’ pockets green.

“[Koonin] pointed to a National Climate Assessment in 2014 showing hurricane activity has increased from 1980 as an illustration of how federal agencies fudged climate data,” The Libertarian Republic reported. “Koonin said the NCA’s assessment was technically incorrect. The U.N. published reports in 2014 essentially mirroring Koonin’s argument.”

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change conceded that the high global temperatures touted to prove global warming were actually inaccurate.

“[T]here is limited evidence of changes in extremes associated with other climate variables since the mid-20th century [and current data shows] no significant observed trends in global tropical cyclone frequency over the past century,” a statement from the U.N. panel read, as quoted by the Republic.
