A national defense analyst says the revelation that Hillary Clinton’s private email server contained messages about a now-executed Iranian nuclear scientist is further proof that she’s unqualified to be president.

Iran has confirmed that it has executed scientist Shahram Amiri, who was suspected of being a spy for the United States, in particular for the CIA.

Amiri was hanged last week for treason after he voluntarily returned to Iran in 2010, claiming he had been abducted.

Clinton emails dating to 2010, and released last year, reportedly refer to Amiri as “our friend” in one written by a State Department official. A second email expressed concern about media coverage when it became obvious Amiri was likely returning to Iran, news website Politico reported in an August 7 story.

After Amiri’s execution, such discussions on an unsecured email server are fueling Republican criticisms that the former secretary of state left her emails vulnerable to other countries.

U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton raised the issue of Amiri and the emails during a Sunday talk show, calling Clinton’s actions “reckless and careless.”

“The fact that he disappeared, was found in the United States and came back, that probably by itself would have been enough to put him to death,” observes Bob Maginnis, a senior fellow for national security at theFamily Research Council.

But when Maginnis considers that Clinton knew him by name, “then I think it’s a slam dunk,” he insists.

Maginnis agrees with Donald Trump that Hillary Clinton is not qualified to be president of the United States.

“I think Hillary Clinton should be in jail,” Maginnis complains. “Just like I would be in jail if I were to have done even half of what she’s done.”

The worst part, he adds, is that voters don’t’ seem to care.
