It’s amazing when a video pops up that really cuts through everything and gives a clear picture of just how left-wing a person can be. Such a video has now hit the Internet, and it shows Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder giving his opinions about guns in 1995. Not only does he compare guns to cigarettes (as a bad habit that needs to be broken), but he also stresses the need to change “hearts and minds” about guns. In other words, according to Holder, carrying a gun is bad, using a gun is bad, and owning a gun… is bad.

As noted in The Blaze:

New video of Eric Holder from 1995 has surfaced, and it may put “Fast and Furious” in a much broader perspective.

Recorded on CSPAN2, the clip shows current Attorney General Eric Holder laying out a strategy to “change the hearts and minds of the people in Washington, DC” in how they look at guns.

It certainly does put things in perspective. The video is so left-wing it’s almost comical. However, gun ownership is a serious issue and one that is Constitutionally protected. However, when Holder talks about running an ad campaigning aimed at kids, he mentions getting people who are “credible” such as “Jesse Jackson and Marion Barry.” Is he insane?

The article reminds readers of Holder’s “Fast and Furious” scandal which I wrote about back in July in which “purchasers were allowed to buy guns in the U.S. — in some cases, with taxpayer money, Issa said — and then send those guns to Mexican drug cartels.” Some of those guns where then used to kill Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010.

The words of Holder or any Obama appointee should not be surprising, yet every time I see one of these videos or read a statement, I’m left wondering what in the world is happening to this country. Are these people out to defend the Constitution and protect the country? Or are they out to destroy it one piece at a time? The answer seems pretty clear to me.
