Troy Marrs
Wyoming Editor
Mr. Marrs grew up calling himself an "Independent." During the last of the Clinton years, he began to take notice of how the liberals were attempting to change America, and for the first time became an active Republican. While living in Texas, Troy supported the local Republican Party and provided executive protection and security for GOP candidates. Troy was also a backup pilot to fly members of the Texas State Legislature from their home district to Austin for important last-minute votes or emergency meetings.
Troy attended Abilene Christian University in Texas (Computer Science), and later joined the military, serving during the first Gulf War. He has been a volunteer firefighter and paramedic for most of his life since high school. Today, Troy spends his spare time traveling, camping, and continues to fly. He is a volunteer pilot with Angel Flight, a non-profit organization providing free air transportation for medical and humanitarian needs.
Troy is a founding member of a group called "Wyoming Peace Keepers," a Bible study for law enforcement officers, and teaches the college level Sunday School class at his local church. Troy feels that conservative Christians across this great nation must wake up, get involved, and stop the liberal takeover of America.
