The Obama Campaign Plan -- Romney, Ryan will Kill Seniors

By Bobby Eberle

Everything you need to know about the Barack Obama reelection campaign has been revealed in the last week. Obama's plan is to run and hide from issues like the economy, jobs, the debt, or anything else of substance. Instead, his plan is simple: Scare the hell out of seniors and hope they vote for Obama.

First, we have the Obama Super Pac known as Priorities USA Action. This is the group that put together the ad that actually blames Romney for the death of a steelworker's wife:

As I reported on Friday, "Independent fact-checkers have noted, however, that the cancer patient featured in the ad died six years after Bain bought the husband's company, that she had her own health insurance through her employer, and that Romney was not in charge of the investment firm when her husband was let go."

But now, the Obama campaign plan has kicked into another gear. Here is former White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs:

As noted by the Washington Examiner, the MSNBC's host Chuck Todd, tried to interject that the Republican plan DOES NOT affect current seniors. Let's repeat that... the Romney/Ryan plan will NOT affect current seniors.

Ryan's Medicare reform proposal does not change Medicare for anyone 55 or older. It allows people under the age of 55 to decide if they want to stay in the current system of Medicare or move to a premium support system.

However, that's when Gibbs just dodges and evades. His point is not to discuss facts or issues, but simply to frighten. That's the entire Obama campaign in a nutshell. Frighten seniors, frighten women, frighten minorities. Instead of hope and change, all we got from Obama is politics at its worst.

“Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do.” – Benjamin Franklin

“Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people.” -Eleanor Roosevelt

Oh how this contemporary Party of Democrats have lost not only the roots of their Constitutional Democracy, but the very roots of the values that made their once Great party Great.

It’s time we change our party in power who just wants to party, not work on real solutions, until such time as they change and remove the lost socially confused leaders in their party that run it and our government into the ground in their extreme ideologies, extreme failed social experiment and extreme foolishness. So long as the Democrat Party divorces itself from its truths and reality, the American people must divorce themselves from this Party, until they can offer the American people leaders who are willing AND able to discuss great ideas for great solutions, instead of the small minds that currently lead this party and can only discuss and disparage the people who have the real answers that serve the people first and foremost, and not their party.

This is not the democratic party of old-JFK couldn’t even get his foot in the door. It is completely controlled by special interest groups that are as anti-American as the day is long. And besides, they can’t handle the truth, much less the facts!

Actually, it is high time the patriotic, loyal Democrats in this country took control back from this bunch of rabid “victim” advocates who are peddling their extremist views in their attacks of our job producing industries.

But the only way to accomplish this is to throw the party out of power and keep them out until they get their act together.

Not only is BO’s plan trying to hide from issues and scare the hell out of seniors. His plan is also to buy his votes, with doling out contraception, executive Dream Act and Food stamps to name a few. Remember this, what BO giveth, BO can taketh. All these “freebies” will end if he secures his second term (God help us) we this country is bankrupt! there is no money left and even if the tax the rich to the hilt, the money would only run govt for 8 days! You fools, wake up before you sign away your children’s future! Yeah, the truth hurts. Better to know the truth now and have the ability do something about it than regretting later and kick yourself for voting for 4 more years of BO!

Why isn’t the Romney campaign screaming about this tactic? This is the perfect opportunity to lock Obama’s campaign engine to the real issues that face Americans today. Romney needs to condemn this FUD propaganda vehemently and ask why isn’t Obama willing to go head to head against him on real issues and highlight WHY he can’t.

“Why isn’t the Romney campaign screaming about this tactic?”

Romney has complained about the negative ads and asked that they be removed, but there’s not a lot he can do until he actually BECOMES the GOP nominee, which isn’t official yet.

Obama made several preemptive strikes, but they have squandered a lot of money before the actual campaign gets started.

The most compelling theme for me this election season will be whether the Republican “brain trust” learned anything from the 2008 election. Contrary to what has been popular opinion for them, the McCain-Palin ticket did not lose because they were too conservative, but rather because they were too liberal. If we remember back to 2008, in the days before McCain announced Palin as his running mate, he was flagging badly in the polls; most had Obama comfortably ahead at that point. McCain simply didn’t excite the conservative base enough, and it showed in the polls. He announced Sarah as his running mate, and she immediately began to speak with conviction about a conservative approach and conservative values. In the days and even a few weeks after she entered the race, McCain surged in the polls, as conservatives got excited about the firebrand conservative from Alaska that sounded and thought as they did. Then the compromising, liberal RINO’s got a hold of Palin and started watering down her fire and her message. McCain began to trail in the polls again and the rest is history. John McCain lost in 2008 because the campaign refused to embrace the conservative grassroots groups like the TEA Party and others, instead choosing to move toward the middle and distance themselves from those “extreme” conservatives. We saw how well that strategy paid off. Fast forward to 2012. If you just change the names, the situation is virtually identical. In Romney, you have a presidential candidate seen by most conservatives as more liberal-leaning than they’d like to see, and thus a candidate that has heretofore been unable to energize the conservative base. Most polls have Obama fairly comfortably ahead at this point. In Ryan you have the ultra-conservative firebrand who isn’t afraid to engage and call out the liberals for their hypocrisy, and believes in the conservative mantras of less government, less taxes and more personal freedom. Ryan is this year’s Sarah Palin to Romney’s John McCain. I predict that if the RINO’s leave Ryan alone and let him speak his mind and his heart that Romney will see a big boost from this pick of VEEP candidate. If not, we will likely see a repeat of 2008, even with the number of conservatives who would vote for Bozo the Clown at this point to put Obama out of a job.
This is not to say that there isn’t some degree of political risk associated with Ryan’s selection. His budget proposal, which made tremendous fiscal sense, nonetheless was very controversial due to his proposals regarding Medicare vouchers. It is virtually certain that the Dems will do all they can to paint Ryan as the Grinch that stole Medicare. Since Florida is a key battleground state, and there are a disproportionate number of senior citizens here that use Medicare, how Romney and Ryan respond to that strategy will go a long way to determining things here in the Sunshine State. They must arm themselves with the facts, and pound those facts every chance they get, as Dems will be operating on their normal strategy of false ads devised to create fear among seniors. Picking Paul Ryan represents the ultimate risk and reward. The risk is possibly losing support among seniors, who are still a potent, important group because they still believe voting is a civic duty, while many young people vote if they get around to it. The reward is the potential to fire up the conservatives, which is a crucial step if Romney is to win in November. On balance, though, I believe Ryan is a very solid pick. If they leave him alone and let him sound the conservative message, groups like the TEA Party and others will rally around the ticket, and as we saw in the Ted Cruz Senate race, an energized TEA Party is a potent political force.

The one difference between Paul Ryan and Sarah Palin is Ryan has been in Washington for many years and knows how Washington works, Palin did not. Ryan has been through the ringer with his budget and Medicare plan. I do not think that the Liberal RINO’s are going to tone down Ryan’s speech. If he or Romney do let them then we deserve what we get, another FOUR years of Obama. God Help this nation if that happens because this country can not survive four more years.

You see parallels to 2008, but you don’t mention the differences.

You said, “McCain began to trail in the polls again and the rest is history. John McCain lost in 2008 because the campaign refused to embrace the conservative grassroots groups like the TEA Party and others,”

Actually, the TEA Party did not exist prior to Obama taking office. The movement formed as a response to the profligate spending that Obama initiated when people woke up and called for fiscal sanity.

That movement shaped the course of the 2010 election, and it will do much to determine what happens this time.
The ‘old guard’ Republicans have learned that they are not immune to TEA Party ‘trash disposal’, and they will do well to stay out of the way when ‘conservatives’ speak.
Many of them only sit in their chairs today because they haven’t been up for election since 2008.

The TEA Party is not a ‘third party’ because that splitting the vote is a losing proposition.
They know that the Democrat Party stands against everything they believe, and that the Republican party has played footsie with the Democrats for far too long.
So, they are reshaping the Republican party …; one race at a time … from local levels to Washington.

They will eventually create a party that DOES the will of ‘we the people’.

I don’t know why someone gave you one star for this. I was going to say something similar about how if you repeat a lie often enough people will eventually believe it. This applies to Obama and his minions who keep lying about how Ryan’s plan for Medicare is to kick seniors off of it, when in fact no one over the age of 55 will be affected by any future changes in Medicare. Josef Goebbels would have been proud of the current Democratic party and the MSM’s propaganda machine.

Many of us who keep our heads out of the sand know by now that BO and his co-horts lie about almost everything, even on life TV eg. Ms Cutter, said she does not know Mr Soptic which prove to be a lie. Then DNC Chair DWS claims she is not aware which party affiliation Bill Burton. Come on. She is either stupid or incompetent. even I know! So you know what BO and his party represents, a party of Lies and more Lies and if you allow them to turn a lie into a truth by believing them, then you have no one to blame but yourself and deserve them! Sorry to be harsh but it is the way it is. God has given us a brain and common sense that no species in the animal kingdom has, use it. It is up to us to keep ourselves informed and educated

His point is that the vote of each misinformed, ignorant voter IS worth the same, and IF they believe the lies of the Obama crowd and vote for them, they WILL get what they deserve. The problem is that even those of us who vote against the lies will suffer along with the idiots because of it. What is so difficult to understand about that? I’m surprised no one has pointed out that Lenin, Hitler and Obama were community organizers who were great motivational speakers for the audiences they were addressing. Lenin’s pitch was that the workers were being exploited by a feudal aristocracy and the Czar. Hitler’s pitch was against Communist-led labor unions, the British and French who had demanded reparations and had taken the Ruhr industrial complex from Germany and the Sudetenland industrial complex from the German speaking population, in addition he included Wall Street Jews who were lending money to German Jews to buy depressed German industries. Obama’s pitch is that Blacks, women and Hispanics are victims of a racist, sexist society and that the richest 1% have too much money. The message is that these 1% should pay more in taxes and that those he represents are entitled to more of what others have worked to attain. I am actually surprised his message hasn’t morphed to an attack on rich Wall Street Jews and Israel. What some regard as truth becomes a victim if it is not part of the motivational message.

Basically, all community organizers motivate by appealing to the base instincts of their audience and all have a scapegoat who is blamed for exploiting those who are in his audience. Hate and envy are what are used to whip a crowd to a supportive frenzy where they are susceptible to the emotional preaching of a demigod, and the really effective ones have skills of great evangelists. It shouldn’t be surprising to anyone who has read Klein’s book the Amateur that BHO studied motivational techniques under the Reverend Wright or that he has effectively used them to sway his supporters. Most leaders who follow this path to power seem to regard themselves as much smarter than others in society, and do not expect any criticism of what they know to be true.

There are enough illegals here in USA to be on there own system of benifits, they should be paying in like we do. they might not get as much but they are not intitled as much. BAD IDEA! This would just be another government program filled with corruption. The U.S. should in no way be involved in allowing any type of benefits to illegal aliens. The borders should be secured, there should be laws prohibiting employing or renting to an illegal alien which carry disastrous penalties, and it has been proven in some states like Arizona that when you go after the illegals they leave. No help–no benefits–no illegals.

Thank you greenteeth & bna42 for bravely pointing to, The Elephant in the Room, that most ignore and many feed… . This is a working topic for me.

There has been a willful re-population of The Republic. Cheeeeap labor, vastly Alien peoples, coming from societies that are inherently subservient, have reinforced The Nanny State, emboldened it, and provides the kind of loyal docile people that simple pandering, lies, works wonders on. BOTH political parties have played to this. The Founding Fathers would be furious about this, having voiced their opinions so clearly… .

The Nanny State also includes the long established, Federal Leviathan of workers, of which both political parties have been very much involved with in expansion.

The TRIAD comes with millions more who are here, curtsey of businesses with Government approval, wanting cheap labor, universities desire for students… .

All of this makes it increasingly difficult to reduce the role of government, peel back the Ponzi Entitlement programs, as the votes from voters, dead, alive, illegals & repeaters, know who their “Daddy” is.

One more, making a stout four legged table of destruction remains. Long ago, I was involved as a teacher in Public Education. (shudder) Call it, indoctrination if you will. A Constitutional Conservative amongst a vast sea of Socialist Utopians. While my University compatriots were studying business, as to make money later on, I studied government, economics, history, social studies…, and made the leap into “education” where I was a pariah, a trouble maker… .

So who teaches the young? Why is Obama so into the whole “education”, teacher thing? Take a wild guess.

I’ve read many comments about Goebbels, Hitler, Lenin… as if these bad boys, somehow invented lying. Ridiculous. They bobbed about in Oceans of Liars. Humanity has been riddled with con-job artists, control types… . Setting your target for a MARK, is the key to success. That people as a whole, want to think that they can discern the truth, want to think that they are being told the truth, only helps.

When a people are so consumed in consumption, work…, when their education is so sparse with the right combination of indoctrination, con artists, controllers, thrive. This is yet another fear that The Founders had for, We the People.

From the Declaration of Independence, a document of separation, and unalienable God given rights, to The Constitution & Bill of Rights, well set operational boundaries for government power…, it was thought that leaving all of this, would have a Government that would work for, The People, a Government that would have it’s participants, kept in check. Franklin was dubious of it all.

So here we sit near the precipice. Obama, the Nanny State King, with loyal minions, and a much more clear counter point of Romney & Ryan. The question that I have, will R&R forget about the so called border? Will they forget about the exportation of good jobs, industry, and continue the importation of more cheap people? Do they understand the problem that The Republic faces with depth?

It is just a guess, that we do not have much more time, before a team like Romney & Ryan will be next to impossible to elect. At such a time, game over. It lasted over 200 years, which in modern times, is not all that bad considering. Are we witnessing what Marcus Cicero did per his ROME?

Often enough we hear all about Obama did this or that and he Lied about this and so on….. Here we have others working with Obama and his minions to smear and coax the Senior Citizens and Women in more and more Lies….. They cannot place the Blame upon Bush anymore, so now they have to tell LIES that are full of nothing more than to influence the elderly and women into thinking they would be better off Voting for Obama to lead us into oblivion…… WAKE-UP PEOPLE, as this is so UNREAL and FAR from the TRUTH as it can possibly get to be….. Obama and his minions DO NOT know or tell anything of any kind that speaks the TRUTH in what they say or do….. The sooner we Vote him out of Office and he is gone, ( Hopefully at which he is brought-up on charges of Espionage, TREASON and a whole bunch of other things ) we can then get back to Returning this GREAT COUNTRY of OURS back to what it once was……minus Obama and ALL others associated with him…..meaning the Democrat Party….
    GOD BLESS AMERICA !

The Democratic side does not give Credit to Americans intelligence !
We see what lies ahead under Obama- his record is plain and clear, its a proven fact that he wants to sink the USA.
Living under a new president would be much better than living under Obama, and I will take my chances on Romney and Ryan.

Do not be surprised at the ignorance and apathy of voters! Rather do what you can to enlist people to consider the facts and vote against what they are experiencing now
Vote with knowledge and vote for our prosperity

It is interesting that no one ever mentions that Bush inherited a real mess from Clinton, Frank and Dobbs, namely, the dotcom bubble, the subprime bubble, a totally out of control F&F who had used AIG insurance and threats by the FDIC to expand this bubble, an major attack by Terrorists and a war in Iraq that had dragged on for 10 years. In addition, Pelosi was in charge of the House and Reid the Senate in 2006. I suspect future historians will be very sympathetic to Bush’s attempts to correct a mess and very critical of Clinton and Obama for their policies and actions.

The essence of Obama is deception and lies. So, everything that comes out of him MUST be viewed from that perspective. His biography is an enigma; where did he come from, who influenced him, and what is his true plan for America? He has spent an inordinate amount of resources to keep the truth secret, but there are still enough crumbs left along the path to get an accurate picture, especially through the characters that he surrounds himself with. This election can be broken down to “Fool me once, shame on you…..Fool me twice, shame on me”.

“Fool me once, shame on you…..Fool me twice, shame on me”.

      Bingo !

I was never fooled to begin with, but I just hope there aren’t a lot of people remaining to be fooled again by the change in strategy from “Hope & Change” to “Fear the Republicans”

It doesn’t matter who runs for the republicans. If Jesus Christ was the nominee the demonrats would be saying the same kind of garbage.

Romney/Ryan is a great choice we can now have an honest discussion about how we want America to be from this point forward. Do we want the America Obama is planning where 65% of the people are dependent upon a government that is endlessly in debt because of costs inherent in big government. Look at Europe and see if that is your choice because it is Obama’s. We can dump Obama, open the oil and gas spigots[as Russia, china,Canada and 100 other countries have done] and our economy will boom while our enemies falter.
We can finally talk to one another without the Obama lies permeating every political conversation. God Bless America!

The Democratic Party was taken over many years back by extreme Liberals and progressives. Now they have elected themselves a Muslim who appears to be intent on breaking this country. His only way to go is to lie which he can do pretty well. He has nothing to offer, but lies and false promises. He is counting on there being enough weak minded left that he can lie his way into another four years. We shall see?
