Wow... There really IS someone worse than Jimmy Carter

By Bobby Eberle

When asked to choose the worst president in the history of America, a familiar name comes to mind. Even Democrats will remember the years of gas lines, energy shortages, inflation, unemployment, and hostages. I'm talking about the 39th president of the United States: Jimmy Carter. But now, a new report by Gallup reveals that Barack Obama has journeyed into Carter-like territory. In the history of their polling, no one has had a lower approval rating at this point in a presidential term than Obama.

As noted in the U.S. News blog Washington Whispers, "President Obama's slow ride down Gallup's daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history." Here's how Obama compares with other presidents:

-- Obama: 43 percent.

-- Harry S. Truman: 54 percent.

-- Dwight Eisenhower: 78 percent.

-- Lyndon B. Johnson: 44 percent.

-- Richard M. Nixon: 50 percent.

-- Ronald Reagan: 54 percent.

-- George H.W. Bush: 52 percent.

-- Bill Clinton: 51 percent.

-- George W. Bush: 55 percent.

So how do things stand for our current president? According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll, confidence in short-term economic growth remains at a record low.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of U.S. adults shows that just 27% believe the economy will be stronger in one year, showing no change from September and the lowest finding in regular tracking since early 2009. Prior to September, the number of adults expecting a stronger economy in a year's time ranged from 31% to 45%.

Forty-eight percent (48%) expect the U.S. economy to be weaker a year from now, down slightly from September's high of 52%. This finding remained in the 30s throughout 2009 and rose to the low 40s for much of 2010. Just 16% expect the economy to be about the same in a year's time, while 10% more aren't sure.

Remember the slogan "It's the economy, stupid!"? Well... it IS the economy. And Obama has failed at it. In another Rasmussen Reports poll, 84% of likely voters "regard economic issues as Very Important."

The number of voters who feel this way about the economy has remained fairly consistent since January 2008. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Eighty percent (80%) say it's not a good time to sell a home in their area. That's a new high. This comes on top of data showing that only 16% of homeowners believe the value of their home will go up this year. Additionally, barely more than half believe their home is worth more than their mortgage.

As another sign of how people view the job Obama is doing, a generic Republican presidential candidate leads Obama in the race for the White House -- 48% to 42%.

There is a lot of time between now and Election Day, but the economy is going no where fast. The key will be if voters actually think about what's going on or simply react to some "hope and change" sound bite. Obama certainly does not deserve a second term. But will he get it?

What is really scary is the thought Obama having done his damage, like LBJ will see the writing on the wall and refuse to run again and we have another Clintonian mess on our hands. Let us just hope Obama’s narcissism will prevent it. Conservative America has suffered enough and deserve our well earned victory of Obama’s default in leadership.

Again I say “ It’s the Dishonestly Stupid” which when finally addressed by the adult American population in a reawakening of their Christian based Constitutional rights and freedoms, the “It’s the Economy” thing will take care of itself.

As Jimmy Carter sighs in relief,,,,,history has finally been re-wriiten, to his advantage,,,,which is what Liberals are all about anyway.

Inlumin,  the worst part of this whole dreck is that even with all the “sturm and drang” going on with the 2012 Pres. Election, we, the people, will still have no say in who will win.  Thanks to our now hopelessly corrupt “Electoral College”, you can guarantee that the next Pres. we have will be the one whose party manages to strike the “right” deal for whatever nefarious and no doubt foul reason, with those whose votes can be bought with promises of future gains for their own perfidious plans to rape, cheat and steal from the people of America.

Jimmy Carter sighed in relief on January 20, 2009….when the WORST president ever in history left for Crawford Texas.  The damage done by George WMD BUSH will last for DECADES as a horrendous mess to clean up.

Sugar coat it, twist it, lie about it all you want.  The FAILED GOP ideology, executed by George WMD Bush, nearly brought this country down.

George W Bush only failed to the degree he either embraced Socialism ( Shouldn’t Everyone own a home backed by the U.S. Taxpayer) or looked the other way in order to keep the war going and financed. Bush never asked for the war,,,,Obama asked for our bankrupting stimulus packages and Obamacare.

“There really IS someone worse than Jimmy Carter.”

Yes, and we all know where HE resides.  Nevertheless, I’m very skeptical of the Democratic machine that is working overtime to ensure that Obama remains in the White House.  Even though we are constantly being told that conservatism is in the majority, the institutions and other entities that run this country are ultra liberal and are donating billions to make sure their man gets re-elected.  Getting too overconfident is a danger we can’t afford as the Chicago crew and all their supporters will rig these elections to make sure Obama wins — they’ve already started their game.

That pipeline business is just one example of how low they will stoop to pander and placate the enviornmentalists, as the states they need to get their electoral votes are pro EPA.  Hence the deal with Canada was dropped like a bomb further hampering the ability to help our economy and to put people back to work.  Sometimes I wish I had never read the book authored by Saul Alinsky, “Rules for Radicals,” as I keep seeing all Alinsky’s ideologies, and instructions in progress.

There are definitely times when money alone can not be the final influence on an election.  There was a lot of money spent during the mid term election and when Rasmussen predicted that the Republicans would capture 62 seats in the House………they were wrong, it turned out to be 63!

Do we see anything better now than it was in 2010?  I don’t think so, and there are even Senators deciding not to run………more handwriting on the Wall? Would it not be wonderful to see gains in the Senate which would allow some REAL restructuring in Washington.

Oh yes, and who will miss Barney Fwank in the House? The uber libs are already eying is committee seats.

We should not underestimate Obama.  Words with most politicians are not the same as their actions.  Obama has a plan, and that plan is obviously to “Change” America from what it is/was to a more dictatorial form.  Martial law to install him as President on a more permanent basis is not out of the question.

Something to ponder is basically what Stalin said about elections.  This is probably not exact, perhaps more of a paraphrase but in essence he said votes don’t matter, what does matter is the vote count(ing).  Put another way, your people in place claiming you won, means you won….even if you got no votes.

So we are not assured that we will make it to the 2012 election, but if we do even then we are not assured it will be a valid and true outcome.  Regardless though, he must be removed by vote.

Also, it is sad that the Republican Primary Circus is trying to promote Globalistic Clones and not Constitutional Conservatives.  There is the saying that in choosing the lesser of two evils, the outcome is still evil.  With all the great prospects the Republican nominee should not be the lesser of evils, but instead should be the best choice for America and the American people.

JR, you’re right on the money again.  Hitler proved it with his failed “putsch”.  The only way to beat the government or the nation is working within Government, to force things to go your way.  I’m just wondering when OUR “Reichstag” fire is going to happen and who’ll be blamed for it.  After that, ZAP!  Instant “Martial Law” and rule by decree, which we’re already seeing.  Since BO hasn’t bothered to appoint Secretaries to several of our Administrative Divisions, he has gathered even more power to himself.  Brrrrrrr!  The idea of that arrogant egomaniac abrogating all governmental powers to himself by Executive Order sends chills up and down my spine and me off to the range.

Unfortunately Bobby, it is doubtful that such Polls take in fully some of the core groups that support Obama in a complete and sizable lock step.  Automatically Obama can count on something like 97% of the Black vote.  How big of pie that is in this election cycle has yet to be determined.  Likely not as big but still… .

Then you have other voting blocks that are very substantial and growing courtesy to suicidal torrents of immigration, legal or illegal of those who fit most comfortably into the Nanny State.  Texas will eventually be a Blue State making for game changing results in The Electoral College Vote.   Thank you El Heffe Perry and Uncle Sugardaddy Sam.

Finally, the base support of the Republican Party, well, if a lame, silly person is picked, non Tea Party, pro more immigration, amnesty & muddled headed pandering, then in addition to diminishing their historic financial clout, you loose several % points of a very big pie.

So yes, while Obama is not deserving of a second term, he could most certainly get it.

I just read an article I missed back in Aug. that appeared in several liberal leaning papers, which basically stated that historians would look back at this President with nothing but questions about how the American people could possibly have thought that this man, with no experience, no accomplishments, and whose history is replete with radical associations, who got a pass in EVERY aspect of his life, could possibly be considered qualified to be President? They called him the ‘Affirmative Action’ President.
I guess I did not realize how serious a mental defect ‘white guilt’ really is! That and media manipulation. But for the life of me, I cannot understand how there are still significant numbers of people in this Country STILL supporting this DOPE! They are either mentally deranged, or just so stupid they should not be able to walk the streets, say nothing of procreating! Scary, very, very scary

      Quote;

“Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small and small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office.

But hey, at least we got to feel good about ourselves for a little while. And really, isn’t that all that matters these days?”

It has been a a extremely competitive struggle for most of our later presidents to see which could be the very worst president by destroying the United States of America. I do believe Obama out smarted the rest of them even in the work of a traitor and the utter destruction of American families. It has been a long bitter struggle but so far Obama won the dubious distinction of being the most treacherous of all. It had been close but Obama’s continuous persistence has paid off.

Obama’s answer to high unemployment, skyrocketing health care and other costs leading to record low job approval ratings is to sue states trying to implement e-verify and other measures to secure our borders and prevent illegal aliens from taking jobs from Americans and using taxpayer benefits to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars annually in free health care, welfare, wic, education (in-state tuition), unemployment, housing assistance and other benefits denied to many Americans while illegal aliens pay no taxes for those benefits (most are paid in cash under the table by unscrupulous  employers).
Obama gutted worksite enforcement and ordered Homeland Insecurity to stop arrest and deportation of illegal aliens including previously deported illegal aliens and violent illegal alien felons (an illegal alien incarcerated for assault and other charges was released, then murdered a US citizen).
Obama also slashed border and interior security funding by 50 percent. His corrupt Injustice Department Attorney General just dispatched two more Injustice Department attack dogs to Alabama where enforcement of immigration laws has resulted in drops in unemployment, reduced crowding in schools and hospitals and  a reduction in crime.
Is this an administration that really cares about suffering, struggling and unemployed Americans? I think not……..

Indeed Sir.  The last “plans” for it that I heard of was to make either Oklahoma or Kansas the Official US Terminal for this absurdity.  The Independent truckers and yes, even the Teamsters should be up in arms over having to comply with truck inspections while those running “The Corridor” will not.  They will only have to comply with the Mexican State’s regulations, which are virtually non-existent.  Just remember the dreaded “Mexican Bus” regulations which even allow riders on the roof.

Considering the poor performance of Obama and his team in terms of the visible metrics like the unemployment rate and the national debt, etc. one would wonder how he could get re-elected for a second term, however…those that put him into the Whitehouse, who has trained him and created this modern version of the “Manchurian Candidate” think he is doing a great job.  The national unions work with the Obama administration on a daily basis and union leaders like Trumpka have been treated almost like cabinet officers as they use their resources to help change policies more in the favor of unions across our country.  The environmentalist activist segment of our political landscape feel that they have died and gone to heaven with Lisa Jackson running the EPA, which has been enpowered by executive order to a level where Jackson can bascially dictate how the private sector now does business to a large extent and has hired thousands of new inspectors and regulators to implement the new regulations. The Obama foot soldiers like the SEIU and ACORN replacements continue to work government policies to entrench new subsidies and welfare like support to more and more Americans who have lived their whole lives on the government dole and never really held a real job. Those supporting minorities, both Black, Asian, Latino and others, continue to expand their horizons as they work to register and expand the voter base of this part of our population, legal or not, so as to maintain as large a voter base as possible that they can count on to vote for Obama and Democratic politicians across the country. The entertainment sector, which is heavily unionized, continues to be visible proponents of the liberal policies of this administration and encourage more and more government handouts and higher taxes to pay for it.  ETC…ETC.

The point being, that winning elections in this country no longer is viable based on the selection of the most qualified and capable candidate anymore.  The candidate with the backing of the liberal minorities coupled with the entertainment and liberal media as their communications network has an extreme advantage to begin with, and then we know that the Obama campaign is going to set new record levels of fundraising to support the foot soldier work of the SEIU and other activist and union groups to do door to door voter registration and to help deliver absentee votes or carry people to the polls.  We know that votes will be bought of those that do not even read a newspaper or have any interest in politics, but will gladly take money for their vote.

We know that the liberal media is biased as are some of our major newspapers and cannot rise above these biases to provide the public with a “fair and balanced” input to the candidates and the issues on the table.

So, when you have the “power” that the liberals have in this country, the bottomless pit of financial resources, the total backing of national labor, the liberal media and the entertainment community out there helping to demean conservative candidates, etc. it will be a real fight to unseat Obama, who in my opinion has done more damage to this country then any past President in modern times. This country is now the most polarized it has been since the civil war, and why this upcoming election is basically like a poker game where everyone has gone “All In” and has put everything on the line. The progressive/liberal/communist segment of our political landscape has worked for decades to have the opportunity they have with Obama in the Whitehouse to take over our country and finish the growing liberal landscape conversion to socialism that has been in the works for 40 years.

Can the real Americans in this country stop this freight train? Will the independents, the conservatives (both Republican and Democrat), the libertarians, and citizens of this country who believe in the traditional heritage and exceptionalism of this country band together to turn around this attempt by leftists to take over our country?

You can see that it is not going to be easy, but, it can be done.  We have the facts to validate our positions and rationale.  This is going to require a viable candidate to run against Obama coupled with a communications program to educate America about what is at stake.  It can be done…it must be done.

In a head to head matchup [three-way] between Johnson, Carter, and Obama:  I would have to say Obama is by far the worst President.  However, Johnson started us on the path to the so-called ‘great society’ and his ‘socialist and grandeous ideas’ have put us in the situation we have today.  Carter [my former GA governor] was as governor and continued as president to be inept.  But Obama [Mr. Oclueless] is the worst.  He could not run a lemonade stand if everything was set up for him.  He has no idea how to ‘run’ himself, much less a community:  he is the height of self-indulgence and self-worthlessness.  Is there a path out of our present situation?  Only if the Lord will provide us a great leader.  I’m wondering where he’ll come from: but God did supply Israel with Moses.

Everyone is proclaiming Obama to be a failure. When looked at from the perspective of a patriotic American who actually believes in our Constitution, they are right. But, when looked at from a Marxist revolutionary viewpoint where the current system must be destroyed before a Marxist dictatorship can be installed, he is a raving success.
He and his two years of total Democrat control in the House and Senate has destroyed more of our Constitutional government than we can imagine.

He has been the Marxist’s most successful president ever.

God help us if he is re-elected. He will surely get to appoint more Supreme Court Justices which if confirmed will cause us to kiss our Constitution goodbye. With his cabinet and other appointments and presidential proclamations he will continue the country’s path toward destruction even if we elect a republican House and Senate.

The only way the country could survive is if the Republicans have a veto proof majority in both legislative bodies. An even then only if the Republicans finally wake up and understand that there can be no bi-partisan cooperation. Because the only definition of bipartisanship the Democrats understand is when they have gotten their way.
