If Election Night Gives You Lemons...

By Bobby Eberle

One of the thrills (and not one running down my leg) of Election Day was to listen to the liberal "journalists" try to sit through the Republican wave that we were all witnessing. Ever since Barack Obama was elected, the left wing media have been accomplices to his agenda -- an agenda that was soundly rejected by the American people. But rather than accept that fact, they sit in stupor and wonder, "How can this happen?" They were all given a basket of lemons on Election Day, but rather than make lemonade, they simply put on their best sour face. Priceless.

First there is this gem from MSNBC's Rachel Maddow. As usual, when she talks about the Republicans, she only talks about them "blocking Obama's agenda." It's never that the American people don't like where Obama was taking the country.

Funny... if the strategy was to "block policy accomplishments" and that strategy "paid off big time," isn't that a clue that Americans didn't really want those policy "accomplishments"? Just a thought.

Then, Andrea Mitchell tries to explain that cutting taxes and cutting spending are "totally conflicting."

Any luck with that one? I'm still trying to figure out the "conflict."

MSNBC's Ed Schultz even went as far as to say that the new Republican House might try to impeach Obama. Now I know there are some out there that are yelling, "Go for it!" but the fact is that this "journalist" is covering everything except the facts.

Or how about this one... MSNBC tries to make a "story" about concession speeches. Implying that Republicans are sore losers.

How many thousands of candidates gave concession speeches on Tuesday night? Out of all of those speeches, they pull three Republicans. What? No Democrats? Give me a break.

Chris Matthews shows that it's more than ok to be a far left radical, but if you believe in conservative values, then you are some kind of "idiot."

Just look at the candidates who won like Marco Rubio, Dan Coats, Ron Johnson, and on and on. Believing that Obama's policies are right inline with a far left agenda does not make one an "idiot." Similarly, believing in smaller government, lower taxes, and less spending does not make one a radical.

And then there's MSNBC's Keith Olbermann. Can someone tell me what he is saying here?

So there you have it. It's just a sampling of what was said on Election Day and the days following. I'm sure you can find plenty of other quotes from the looney left as they try to analyze what happened on Tuesday. What you won't hear is any acknowledgment that the Obama agenda is wrong -- It's just those pesky American people. They keep finding a way to block real change.

Thank goodness!

I was amazed at the stupidity of these comments. This was a conservative movement to take the country back to those it belongs to the people.
The people have spoken, this government and media are not listening but instead we are called extremist. I love america and want for my children what I have enjoyed all my life freedom.

These people are not aware of the fact, that they look and sound stupid. The people of America spoke and these people were not listening. To call them news reporters is a real stretch, it is more like passing on thier opinion no matter how stupid it is. Get a real job and quit waisting time attempting to manufacture the news, just tell it like it is, Americans voted and said, WE don’t want obummers agenda.
    See it isn’t that hard.

I don’t watch MSNBC because those people are not giving me the truth, they fawn all over the president and his agenda, and if you don’t agree with them they call you names or make fun of you. The interesting thing is that MSNBC has been bought by Comcast, and they are fixing to give the heave ho to all those liberal *****.

Olbermann is still using “extremist” to describe the Tea Party. What he doesn’t seem to grasp is the Tea Party represents mainstream Americans fed up with Big Government trying to control every aspect of our lives. We’ve been called extremists, radicals, hate-mongers and every other term of endearment by the Liberal Media. I’d suggest they need to turn those cameras around and point them in the direction of the White House. We have endured a despicable Tyrrant trying to cram a Marxist agenda down our throat. He has done his best to create polarity and division among the races. He has looked upon Americans with disdain…and has an over-powering need for retaliation for the supposed multitude of crimes this Country has perpetrated against the World! Instead of an American President who has sworn to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and protect us from Invasion (as stipulated in that document) We have a President that considers us the “enemy.” Gee….now that I think about it. Obama is right! I AM THE ENEMY!

I’ve said it before. In the 90′s we were “unenlightened”. In the 2000′s we were “uninformed”. Now the radical left has lost their patience with us and are saying we “are not thinking clearly” now. This is just more proof, like we needed it, that these elitist fools believe they are doing the right thing by trying to save us from ourselves.
It’s as if they think insulting us will win us over.

All of my life I have been faced with people like these Liberal Journalists whom I think of as the ” CHICKEN LITTLES “. We had these groups in High School and in most of the areas I walked in during my professional career. No matter what if it doesn’t fit their agenda, or isn’t there idea ‘ The Sky Is Falling “. I often wonder how many times Chris Matthews, Keith Olberman, and their likes had their ears cuffed when in High School ???

Well I can honestly say I never watch any of these people, or the networks they are on for the obvious reasons. Nothng they say or do surprises me.What puzzles me is why anyone in their right mind would care what these people say or think. We give them credibility by posting their videos on the web. Let’s stop listening to the main stream media until they come to their senses. They are in denial. The reason their subscription rates and their viewer ratings are so low is that most people don’t watch them or read their trash articles. We all know what they think and what they are saying. It’s always the same old song. So let’s focus on what we need to do to defeat them, and never let up. Maybe, just maybe we can eventually get rid of them, with no viewers they will soon go out of business. IF we stop buying their magazines and newspapers they too will go broke. If we can keep the government from proping them up maybe we just wont have to put up with them. In their case supply has out weighed the demand.

Would love to see Sarah P in the House or Senate. But prez candidate in ’12? This would certainly double Tina Fey’s disposable income to be sure, but.. The media would certainly behave like a bull in a china shop as they did in ’08. These ***-clowns from MSNBC are certainly full of bull.

    THE TIME AND PLACE:
Campaign Season 2008, Saturday Night Live. In a mock debate with a Hillary Clinton impersonator, Sarah Palin impersonator TINA FEY says, in a stupid-sounding tone, “I can see Russia from my HOUSE!”
    THE NEXT DAY:
    The Left-stream Media report:
“In a debate between (then) Senator Clinton and Governor Palin, In a response to a question about foreign policy experience, Sarah Palin says ‘I can see Russia from my HOUSE!’”
Some Television Media outlets even aired this Saturday Night Live skit as an actual debate between Gov. Palin and (then) Sen. Clinton!
    RESULT:
Because of this slanderous, BOLD-FACED LIE, many Americans now think that Sarah Palin is a total babbling idiot! ALL of the Leftists in this country ARE a bunch of lying, as Sarah Palin said it, “CORRUPT ********!” I SAW the Tina Fey skit of the mock debate on Saturday Night Live!
No debate between Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton EVER took place. Gov. Palin ought to SUE EVERY Media outlet which aired this sewage for outright slander. She should sue each one for millions!

I am not caught up in the euphoria from Election night. The Republicans have a knack of shooting themselves in the feet. Unlike the Democrats, they have been a party against itself.
Their entrenched leadership seem to be blase about the Tea Party (read: conservatism). After all, they — the Repub. leaders — have been in charge of their effete charges for too long; many of them bask for the good ‘ol days of the Bush years, and they’re not about to go quietly in favor of the new conservative upstarts — including, but not limited to those supported by the TP.
Here we are a couple of days after the election and already not only does Obama exude his usual intransigence, but his liberal cohorts have increased their venomous attacks on “the opposition,” since they have learned to expect the “usual suspects” across the aisle will cave to the left, enabling the Obama Agenda to go forth.
Perhaps they may be wrong; perhaps the new majority in the House will stand steadfast against further destruction of this country, and we won’t have the old RINO’s, who have been holding sway in concert with their Dem. counterparts — joined at the hip with them — attempting to spawn an additional crop of new RINO’s
So will we or won’t we? The only way to insure that we won’t is to put constant pressure on the newly elected Repubs reminding them why we sent them to Washington in the first place.

Andrea Mitchell’s comment about cutting taxes and cutting spending being “two totally conflicting mandates” derives from the classic liberal/socialist mindset that citizens’ money isn’t really theirs, it’s the government’s; therefore, a tax cut is the government ‘spending’ money on the people, as opposed to the reality: letting wage-earners keep more of their own money.

I saw the whole thing—it was gracious, thoughtful, and well presented, and reminded the voters that they needed to stay engaged, and hold the winners of ALL the elections accountable. Friggin’ liberals—if they can’t report on a story with a slant favorable to them, why, hell, they’ll just make it up out of whole cloth. I’ll amend Sarah Palin’s label, and call them STUPID lying corrupt ********, because apparently they don’t think we’re listening and taking note of their lies. Palin, btw, should sue several media outlets, especially NBC in general, and David Letterman in particular, for defamation of character. A few vigorously prosecuted multimillion dollar lawsuits would go a long way toward reining in the nastiness of the MSM.
