The Boiling Point: States vs. the Feds

By Bobby Eberle

Bobby_Loft

Obama's poll numbers keep heading downward. The economy is still in the tank and unemployment remains sky high. And yet, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid continue on a path that runs polar opposite to the will of the country. They are pushing forward an agenda of higher taxes, unsustainable spending, increased government control, and unconstitutional mandates. Americans have reached the boiling point, and not only are they speaking out as individuals through marches, protests, and rallies, but state officials are also stepping up to the plate and sending a message to Obama: if you do not do the job you're supposed to do, we'll do it ourselves.

First, we have the illegal immigration issue. I'm sure that Obama and the Democrats never thought they would have to deal with immigration and border security going into the November elections, and yet it is red hot. Why? Because Obama's administration not only will not do its job, but they are suing the state of Arizona for trying to protect its residents. Arizona's border with Mexico is not safe. Phoenix is the kidnapping capitol of America. Drug smuggling and illegal alien activity run rampant, and Obama did nothing. So Arizona fought back. Now, Virginia has joined in as well.

As reported in the Iowa Independent, "Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli ruled Monday that police can check immigration status of anyone stopped or arrested in the state, a move that should bolster the hopes of those around the country who want to pass their own Arizona-style immigration law." In Iowa, Republican gubernatorial candidate Terry Branstad hopes a similar law will be enacted in his state. If Obama will not act, the states will.

Then, there is health care. The Democrats passed a health care bill that was opposed by a majority of Americans. Not a single poll showed that Americans wanted what Obama, Pelosi, and Reid were pushing... yet they pushed it through anyway. Now, Missouri is fighting back. The Kansas City Star reports that primary voters this week "approved Proposition C by a wide margin Tuesday, giving Missourians the power under state law to ignore government requirements to buy health insurance and nullifying penalties for failing to do so."

Just over 71 percent favored the ballot question, with 29 percent in opposition, according to unofficial final results.

The measure is intended to invalidate in Missouri a key element of the federal health care law passed by Congress and signed by President Barack Obama in March. That law requires individuals to purchase health insurance beginning in 2014.

Tuesday's vote was the first statewide referendum in the nation to test an aspect of the health care law. Similar questions will be on November ballots in Oklahoma, Arizona and Florida.

Seventy-one percent favored the measure! Do you think Obama and company are out of touch with reality? Virginia is also mounting a challenge to Obama's unconstitutional health care law, and this week a federal judge ruled that the challenge could continue.

In November, voters have an opportunity to send a message to those in Washington who refuse to listen. Americans want America back... they want their freedom back... they want their money back. And if Washington turns a deaf ear, then American will act at the ballot box. In the mean time, states are stepping forward and exercising not just their rights but their duties to protect their residents and to make sure the Constitution of the United States is followed. The boiling point has been reached, and the real battles begin.

It’s this “29 percent” that has me worried. Who the hell are these people, and what kind of mental disease do they have? Maybe if we’re lucky and can regain control, we can allocate some research grant money to find a cure. That would be one slice of pork well spent!

The 29% are the bleeding heart liberals that like to hire Illegals for slave wages, they are above the rest of us lowly common people.
My Sister and her husband fall into that category, they make well into 6 figures per yearand hire out lawn care, house cleaning etc, etc.

The 29% in Missouri are likely located in Kansas City and St. Louis – segments of the population that think they will have a lot to gain by all of the “freebies” that they think Obama is handing out. People that don’t pay taxes to begin with. I’m not talking about the illegals – that’s a whole other issue that is coming to a head quickly.
The mood here in the midwest is that it’s time for the self-annointed ruling class to step down. They won’t go quietly.
I’m of the opinion that these individuals who have taken such pains to destroy our economy and our nation’s values should be held accountable when they leave office. The damage they have done borders on the criminal in many cases and I feel that ex-congressmen should be subject to civil actions. If the Sedition Act was still in force, a great many of these evil people could be removed from office. Crimes against the Constitution.

Certainly, I’ll tell you who the 21% is. And you won’t be able to cure them with any kind of medication. That is almost exactly the black population of the state of MO. Unfortunately, this president calls himself black but he is half white. Why doesn’t he call himself white? He commands almost all black voters simply on a racial basis – unfortunately – no matter what the issues are. In the ’08 election he got 95% of the black vote. Hello?! Is that racial or not? Certainly, but what is, is. I’m not a racist. Never have been and even have mixed marriages in our family. I’m just stating facts which we should not ignore and stick our heads in the sand.

Booby, Booby, Booby, you’ve learned well from your hero Rush how to use selective facts or ignore facts altogether to get your mindless followers salavating. Where to start? First, both FBI statistics and Arizona State Police statistics, both readily available if you ever cared to acutally look at facts, show that both violent crime and property crime have declined in Arizona every year for the past five years. So much for your distortion that crime is out of control in Arizona. It simply isn’t. As for Phoenix being the “kidnap capital of Arizona”, it’s the largest city in Arizona and therefore probably has more of every type of crime. In fact, every state has a kidnap capital, i.e. the city with the most kidnappings. Nice use of hyperbole to excite your mindless minions.
Most Americans did oppose the healthcare bill. Polling shows that a majority of those who opposed the bill opposed it because IT DIDN’T GO FAR ENOUGH, IN FACT ALMOST 40% OF THOSE WHO OPPOSED THE BILL OPPOSED IT BECAUSE IT DIDN’T INCLUDE A PUBLIC OPTION, I.E. MEDICARE TYPE COVERAGE FOR ALL AMERICANS. The problem with the GOP is they cannot win on facts so they just distort and make **** up, death panels for instance. If you can’t win on substance, win on fear. Hopefully most Americans will see through the charade. In the meantime, you and your mindless followers can get each other excited with your senselss chatter.

Thanks for the rant. Notice you used no facts in your comment, typical GOP/Tea Partier.
By the way, the original idea for having a health insurance mandate was put forth by the GOP. Back when Clinton was proposing health care reform the GOP insisted a mandate, i.e. forcing all Americans to buy health insurance be included in the bill if they were to support it.
I guess these means the GOP was for it before they were against it.

Bob, as with most socialist progressives, reading is fundamental…
Phoenix isn’t the kidnapping capital of Arizona, it’s the kidnapping capital of AMERICA. Not only that, Phoenix last year registered the most kidnappings of any city in the WORLD outside of Mexico City.
Let me ask you something, Bobby boy… if YOUR city was dealing with 370 kidnappings in ONE YEAR (approximately one person per day) like Phoenix is experiencing, what would YOUR city do in response? Especially when the vast majority of the kidnappings were related to Mexican drug cartels and illegal immigrant street gangs?
But then again, it’s Phoenix’s issue, so we in the rest of America should not only ignore their plight, but prevent them from doing something about it. Great logic there.
(Oh, wait, I keep forgetting – I’m trying to reason with a liberal, who thinks with their heart, not their head…)

Bob, Bob, Bob, out of control a little less is still out of control. Our own Government has made sections of the border “No-Go” zones…for Americans. They put up signs and everything, (paid for with Stimulus money no doubt) to keep US citizens out of these areas because of the danger caused by illegal traffic in the area.
Also, you may want to pay closer attention to what you read because the “Devil is in the details.” Mr. Eberle noted that “Phoenix is the kidnapping capital of America” not Arizona.
And who are the real Racists? Is it those who believe that the degree of success one achieves is directly proportional to ones ability to perform (conservatives); or those who push Affirmative Action in all its pernicious (that means “bad”) forms because people of color just cannot do it on their own ( Progressives like you)?

The real battle should have begun over 100 years ago however most certainly two years ago when the ILLEGAL ALIEN USURPER Hussein Obama began ILLEGALLY SQUATTING in the Peoples House. Hussein Obama is as ILLEGAL as the day is long and if he were not he would have shown a long form birth certificate long ago. Instead the nit wit citizenry of this once great nation have sat on their hands and done nothing.
Finally a woman Governor in Arizona named Jan Brewer has the back bone required to step up the plate and challenge Hussein, his band of USURPING THIEVES and the United States Corporation. All to no avail, as the Bill (Slick Willy) Clinton appointed Federal Judge that in all probability was paid off to render an injunction against a very well crafted and United States of America Constitutionally correct state law to protect the citizens and secure the borders of Arizona against the ILLEGAL ALIENS from crossing into Arizona. All this because the United States Corporation Government flat out refuses to do what is the responsibility of the United States government to do.
When will Real American Citizens realize that the United States Corporation (government) and the what are supposed to be the owners of the United States of America (“We the People”) the country (lost to the corporate bankers in 1867 when America the country became a corporation) are not playing by the same rules. The Constitution was thrown in the garbage in 1933 when FDR the second worst thing that ever happened to America (right behind Woodrow Wilson) signed away the land mass once called the United States of America, the people (citizens), the peoples labor (slaves) and the peoples property (gold) to the Federal Reserve Bank. Oh, wait he was not through there, he had more Usurping to do in pushing forward his socialist agenda so in 1935 he signs into law the Social Security Act officially making the once United States of America a socialist corporation (country) thereby effectively nullifying and throwing the United States of America Constitution in the garbage.
The ILLEGAL ALIEN Hussein Obama and his band of USURPING THIEVES know this and care not what “We the People” think do or say as both houses of the Congress have rendered themselves useless in stopping the final Usurpation of the once Greatest Nation the earth has ever seen or ever will see as Hussein Obama the ILLEGAL ALIEN USURPER and his band of USURPING THIEVES march the United States Corporation (once United States of America) into the COMMUNIST ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT!
If “We the People” wish to regain our country and our sovereignty the 50 states that comprise the United States Corporation (once United States of America) MUST ALL SECEDE from the Union of the United States Corporation and begin using the United States of America Constitution as the document was originally written thereby becoming individual Independent Free Nation States with each Independent Free Nation State having its own Constitution, Laws and Monetary systems (money) as coined by each Independent Free Nation States houses of Congress.
By making such bold moves the “People” of this once Great Nation will then and only then have the opportunity to genuinely take our Nation back from the Federal Reserve Bank (Globalist Economic Theives and Slave Masters) and return our Nation to God the Father to make her whole once again and return her to the stature she deserves 50 Individual Independent Free Nation States comprising The United States of America “One Nation Under GOD” the way our Founding Fathers intended the United States of America to be….

Bob, “ALMOST 40% of people polled” is nowhere near a majority. You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.
I’d like to see a link or two to the FBI and state police files that indicate violent crime is down in Arizona.
Same with the GOP wanting a public option during the Clinton regime. Mrs. Clinton wanted it allll to be controlled by the government. I was over 40 at the time, with two small children and owned a small business. My taxes would have zoomed nearly as high as they will now.
Death panels were/are a reality. They aren’t called that, but the decision of who gets what in a serious illness was based on QARY. Boiled down to its basics, QARY is deciding who of those needing serious medical care had more quality time to give to society. It’s still that way, some bureaucrat will make the decisions. Already, Avastin, an anti-cancer chemo drug, is now being considered to be dropped because it doesn’t CURE, it simply gives more time to a terminally ill person. A panel of DC bureaucrats are making that decision. If that’s not a death panel, I don’t know what is, Bob.
This healthcare reform isn’t improving the quality or price of care. It is about controlling one sixth of our economy. If it was to lower cost and improve health care, it would be a different matter! But Democrats, including the character who is going to head up the administration of the bill, acknowledges it raises the cost (as does the budget office)and will cause rationing, because there simply no longer have enough physicians to go around. Doctors won’t work for themselves, but be salaried employees of the state.
I could go on and on, Bob, but you need to send in facts, not your perception of facts.

He can’t think of a more intelligent phrase than “make **** up.” More disturbing, if you’ve seen the Rasmussen report today, 91 percent of the citizens are opposed to an unrestricted federal government while nine percent think the government should be able to do anything it wants. That tells me that nine percent, like Bob, have never familiarized themselves with the Constitution and our official system of governance. There isn’t a referendum on the health care bill in Texas, but I would vote for it if there was.
The good news is that the Senate voted to exclude Texas from participating in the latest education largess because Gov. Perry has refused to accept stimulus funds that come loaded with strings that require replacement funding from local resources after the federal money is used up. This governor recognizes that when money is tight, you can’t loosen it by spending more money you don’t have.

We could banter for days on the “facts” of healthcare, crime stats, and the rest, but I believe the point of the article was that Obama and his administration is governing against the will of the majority of the citizens of this country. Healthcare as it was passed, and I don’t care about the details, was not the change the American people wanted. It does not take 2500 pages to say “everyone gets healthcare coverage”, nor do Americans want to “pass it to see what is in it”. That is idiocy.
And Obama and Co. suing a state that is trying to protect its citizens? How is that not against the will of the people? How is that not another version of idiocy? The point is Obama is out of touch with the people he is sworn to protect.
Additionally, none of his policies actually work. Facts are facts, as Bob tries to point out. Unemployment went quite a bit higher than Obama said it would once his “stimulous” bill was passed. Healthcare costs have not come down, and now that the bill is law, the CBO is changing their estimates of the costs and Obama is now saying we need changes in the new law to make it work right. The 1200 troops he was sending to the border have yet to arrive. He shook down BP to give money to a disaster that may never materialize. We could go on and on. He is out of touch.
Comments on other comments: I would say that the vast majority of black people support Obama because he is a democrat. However, 95% of democrats did not support him over hillary, like the percentage of black people did. And when 88% of blacks still support his policies when only 67% of overall democrats do, that leads one to believe that race is a significant factor.
And yes he is half white. Why is he never stating anything positive about his white heritage? Why aren’t we proclaiming him a white president, as much as we are saying he is a black president?
We will see come November what the people think about Obama’s policies to date. I think running up the astronomical debt (that Dem’s used to rail against Bush on but now are simply adding to), raising taxes on everyone, dividing the country on race, suing states for trying to help, crippling the economy in the Gulf with unfounded moratoria on oil drilling, and other idiotic poliices, it will be a clear victory for conservatives and the GOP. Hopefully, the GOP will go back to their conservative roots.

I need to point up one small fact to RW.
If you would do a little research, you’d find out that Avastin has many serious side effects, like heart failure and liver disease. Taking Avastin, you’re more likely to die from some other dread condition than Cancer, so I guess, in a way, it does what it is supposed to do. It is only one of a high number of modern drugs with dangerous side effects worse than the cure. For the FDA to recognize that is a miracle. A silver lining?
What if States just tell the Feds “No?” Since the Federal Courts ruled AZ cannot enforce Federal Laws, why can’t States tell Washington “Enforce your own laws?” We won’t cooperate unless we want to, and we do not intend to help enforce x,y, or z legislation out of Washington. In effect, doesn’t the ruling against AZ essentially uncouple State and Local law enforcement from Federal agencies? Doesn’t telling States only the Feds can enforce Federal Law mean States are now free to ignore enforcing ANYTHING Federal? This could be a real boon to the States’ Rights guys!

The 29% are mostly the people that won’t listen to reason, close their eyes, stomp their feet, and say, “I want my free health care!” Oh, and the few die hard “elite” that think BO and gang DO know better than the rest of us.
Oh, I have friends in AZ – the crime is NOT going down, and they are fearful to go shopping with the kids! Having Phoenix as the Kidnapping Capital does not sound like the crime rate is going down, does it, Bob B?
I am afraid theAdmin are lining things up that Nov. may not make a difference.
So are the States willing to not get Federal $$? That is the question… It is what we NEED to do, but will we be willing to make those sacrifices?
    Pray!

To obtain REAL HOPE AND CHANGE, we grass-roots Constitutional Conservatives,
Tea Party Activists, and other true American Patriots of ALL races must UNITE!
WE HAVE THE MORAL HIGH GROUND! Get registered as Republicans in your State
if it is not too late. Educate yourselves on where each candidate stands on the issues.
Vote for ONLY grass-roots Constitutional Conservatives and Tea Party candidates
in the Republican Primary elections. VOTE OUT the RINOs, Country-clubbers, and
Republicrats – THIS MEANS VOTE THE ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATES OUT – in the
Primaries and take our Party back! Then vote for these Republicans in November and
take our COUNTRY back! Investigations, likely impeachment, and possible arrest,
of the current administration, and others, will surely follow! Do the same in 2012 AND
elect a REAL American Patriot for President. Only then can we fully restore this great
Nation to a Constitutional Republic with a Government OF the People, BY the People,
and FOR the People! YES WE CAN!

    Yes Loren,
I have been amazed at the blind acceptance of Obama and his policies. Two years ago, I watched and listened and a cold realization came over me – that if Obama was elected this could be the last general election this country has – or the last meaningful one.
Bit by bit, he has done what he said he would do. And now it looks like he has just about all the pieces in place he needs for a “crises” to occur.
Most of my life is behind me; and I’m also disabled, but I’m out there working through the republican party, the tea party, 912 project, etc. trying to make sure like minded people go to the polls and make their opinion count. If that fails, I fear the next step, but I’ll stand up and fight. Not for me, I’m old and to say I’ll die for my country isn’t sacrificing much at this point, but I’ll fight for the future of the country, that our children and grandchildren can know and live the life we once had.

Bob Barber demonstrates his total inability to debate by starting of with an ad hominem attack that has no shred of truth to it.
“Booby, Booby, Booby, you’ve learned well from your hero Rush how to use selective facts or ignore facts altogether to get your mindless followers salavating.”
    Good job there Bob B.
Bob Barber:”Where to start? First, both FBI statistics and Arizona State Police statistics, both readily available if you ever cared to acutally look at facts, show that both violent crime and property crime have declined in Arizona every year for the past five years.”
The above is called proof by bald assertion. No links to support the claim. Let us see what is real
http://www.disastercenter.com/crime/azcrime.htm ( For BobB this is called a link. It is a pointer to a cite to backup my assertion that is to follow. Try it some time we might find your argument points more believable.)
Even doing crime/population shows that violent crime has gone up and down in the time period but is still way to high thus out of control
Property crime did trend downward as BobB asserted though other than vehicle theft they were not by much.
What is interesting is the violent crimes have been in the 28k to 30k range since 1993 along with murders 300-400 range.
Bob Barber: “So much for your distortion that crime is out of control in Arizona. It simply isn’t. As for Phoenix being the “kidnap capital of Arizona”, it’s the largest city in Arizona and therefore probably has more of every type of crime. In fact, every state has a kidnap capital, i.e. the city with the most kidnappings.”
Oh look. BobB shows dislexic tendencies by transposing America to Arizona. Now the facts
The author asserts “”Phoenix is the kidnapping capitol of America. ”
Here is a link to validate that assertion.
    http://www.freelegaladvicehelp.com/criminal-lawyer/kidnapping/Kidnapping-Statistics-In-America.html
Bob Barber:” Nice use of hyperbole to excite your mindless minions.”
There you go with the ad hominem attack again.
Bob Barber:” Most Americans did oppose the healthcare bill. MEDICARE TYPE COVERAGE FOR ALL AMERICANS.”
Proof by bald assertion again. I see a pattern here. lets see if there is some truth to this assertion. There was for the crime stats.
http://www.pollster.com/polls/us/healthplan.php Very complicated. Let Bob show which are relevant.
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/healthcare/september_2009/health_care_reform Another attempt to locate the 40% number Bob asserted
AhHa, Found it. Not only that the words are so close to what BobB yelled that it must be a “talking point” :)
    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2010/mar/19/john-yarmuth/yarmuth-40-percent-health-care-bill-opponents-say-/
Bob Barker:”The problem with the GOP is they cannot win on facts so they just distort and make **** up,”
    Pot, kettle.
    Bob Barker:”death panels for instance.”
It would not be PC to call them that so the bureaucrat boards who will decide who gets health care will be death panels in duty not in name.
Bob Barker: “If you can’t win on substance, win on fear.”
    Pot, Kettle.
Bob Barker: “Hopefully most Americans will see through the charade. In the meantime, you and your mindless followers can get each other excited with your senselss chatter.”
There’s that ad hominem attack again. Almost as constant as bush bashing was till “liberals” realized that no one is buying that argument any longer.

One book I would highly reccomend people who are interested in the states vs federal government dispute is “Lincoln Unmasked.” Although it might have a few not so flattering words about the founding father of the GOP it makes the point that prior to Lincoln nullification of federal laws at the state level was the norm, not the exception. This is really amust read book for anyone who really wants the government of the founding fathers because the effects of federal statism is so engranged into both parties that it is hard to see the original documents in their original light.

Lets stop overthinking the illegal immagrant issue. If your here illegally, you should be arrested and deported. What else is there to discuss? Ask yourselves this question. If our government really wants to do something about Illegals, why dont they just go to a new home construction site with a bus and load up? I am a construction foreman and I will tell you, 80-90% do not have any papers. Why are they not being arrested and deported? During the Christmas holidays, the “wets” turn themselves in, so they can get a free ride home, a sandwich and a drink, in an air conditioned bus. They know they can get back in later. What is REALLY going on here??

I heard on another blog that the 9% in question were all residents of the DC area, in other words, the very ones who would benefit most from their own decisions to run the country into the ground while keeping themselves in power…
“That tells me that nine percent, like Bob, have never bothered themselves with the Constitution and our official system of governance.”

People like this “Bob Barber” person are the “Obamaites” and progressives that see the world from a different perspective then the majority of Americans. My guess is that he lives in a large urban city or State like California which is dominated by progressive thinking. And, these people do not really want facts or will debate anything on the facts because they always lose when it gets down to the bottom line, and, they will then try to intimidate their opponents or make them feel guilty for some “social injustice” that a Republican or conservative must have done in the past. His comments certainly stirred up this blog, didn’t they, and that is OK. The more we get opinions like his out on the table, the more informed the public at large will be on their points of view, which is good for our debate.
The macro view is where we can focus with what is going on in this country, but, be aware that the devil is in the details, and we are getting screwed within the details of this administration every day by the executive orders and other policies being changed within the administration, and where they are going is not good for this country. The tax policies are being manipulated, the environmental regulations are being manipulated, the financial regulations are being manipulated, etc. And, the “nanny state” is moving more and more into total control of our personal freedoms as we speak. It is well organized and determined to “transform” this country.
However, there is one macro set of convincing data that we can use as a baseline to remember, and that is this: Every State and city that is being run by progressives is in financial trouble. Yes, the State of California has a “Republican” governor, but, the legislature is convincingly progressive (Democrats) and that is where the policies are controlled. So, no matter what we are told about any government program and commitments, the fact of the matter is that government only knows how to “spend” money and will never, unless forced, cut their spending programs. The Democrats, who are the “bigtime spenders” are in the pocket of big unions and other liberal special interest groups and will never do the hard things required to turn this financial disaster around.
So, if we keep it simple, we need more leaders like the current governors of Texas, Nebraska, and New Jersey who are going against the unions and liberals and are committed to stopping this out of control government growth and spending. Texas and Nebraska have always been conservative and their policies and records are excellent, and that is what we need across the country.
Just focus on the obvious issues, huge government spending and entitlements that we cannot afford, huge tax increases on there way in various obvious and covert ways, and more and more government intervention into our personal freedoms under the Obama administration. We do not have to go any deeper.
Let’s find the Cristi kind of leaders and replace the idiots we have in Congress, and of course, the Whitehouse.
We need to override the “Boob” Barkers in this country and save the American way.

Clarification – Arizona is the #2 kidnapping capital of the WORLD the first is Mexico City.
I was one of the 2 million in DC on 9/12/09 and they were all against the government getting into healthcare in any manner. The need for government healthcare is a hoax. Everyone can go to an emergency room and they have to help them.
Case in point. Dallas county delivers approximately 14,000 babies per year of illegal aliens. Statistics – 70% of all babies delivered in Parkland are illegal aliens and 75% of all babies delivered in Tarrant Co hospitals are illegal aliens. This puts a terrible burden on the system and the legal citizens who have to support and pay for this care.
Another point-More Americans are killed every day by illegal aliens on American soil than are killed in both wars combined.
Look up Maywood, CA. They had to lay off all city employees because they couldn’t pay them any longer, that means police and fire department also. How many other cities and states have to be destroyed before people realize the illegal alien population is killing America.

Crime stats can be VERY misleading. Phoenix is run by a VERY liberal mayor (sanctuary City-type liberal). Stats can be tweeked by simply not reporting everything. I had this type thing happen to me in San Diego when my truck was burglarized one night. There were only minor items missing when the Deputy came and he said there was no point in filing a report unless I needed it for insurance purposes, since the likelyhood of catching the perps was really slim.
It didn’t occur to me at the time but I helped the local sherriff with his crime stats! In contrast, the mountain community in ARIZONA where I plan to move shortly in retirement, had something like triple the state average for proprty crimes when I was researching the area online, so I called the local LEO and talked at length to the Asst Chief. He said it was no worse there than anywhere else but they actually wrote reports for everything that was called in; missing chain saw from a PU, stolen bicycle, shoplifting…EVERYTHING! It drove the stats higher, but they took their job seriously.
As for Phoenix, 370ish kidnappings can’t be ignored, just as a dead rancher (Robert Krentz)
a couple of dead deputies and a million dollar bounty on Joe Arpaio’s head put there by the drug cartels can’t be. That the administration “solves” the violence problem at the border by putting up signs telling American citizens they shouldn’t travel in an 80 mile wide swath of OUR OWN COUNTRY near the border says a LOT about the problem and is, frankly, really SICK.
