Corbett has announced charges against 12 people once affiliated with the House Democratic Caucus. They are accused of using taxpayer money and resources to aid re-election campaigns. Corbett has said legislative staffers were paid bonuses for work on those campaigns. Those charged include Rep. Sean Ramaley, D-Allegheny County; former Rep. Mike Veon, D-Beaver County; and Mike Manzo, the former chief of staff to House Democratic Leader William DeWeese, D-Greene.
