Editor's Note -- Lawmakers who just left office and become registered lobbyists have too much INSIDER INFORMATION. It seems a three year waiting period for them to become lobbyists wouldn't be excessive or contrary to their rights. Isn't insider trading against the law? Lawmakers becoming lobbyists so soon after leaving office are not that different from those who deal in insider trading.
