Another year, another Benghazi pledge from Obama

The White House on Wednesday pledged it would continue to pursue those responsible for the deaths of four U.S. citizens a year ago in Benghazi, Libya.

"The events of last year, losing four brave Americans - Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods - brought home the reality of the challenges we face in the world," press secretary Jay Carney said in a statement marking the first anniversary of the Benghazi attack and the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania

"As we near this day of remembrance, we continue to mourn the death of our cherished colleagues and honor their dedication to public service," Carney said. "We remain committed to bringing the perpetrators of the Benghazi attacks to justice and to ensuring the safety of our brave personnel serving overseas."

A powerful blast on the main street of Benghazi on the anniversary of the attack on the U.S. consulate there damaged a Foreign Ministry building and a branch of the Central Bank of Libya, witnesses said.

No deaths were reported in the explosion, CNN reported.

Bank branch manager Abdel Qader Mohammed said the explosion caused "material damage" to the financial institution, but did not affect its computer systems.

Two security guards stationed outside the bank sustained minor injuries in the blast, the Libya Herald reported.

"It was a massive explosion which caused a lot of damage to the two buildings," Abdullah Zaidi, a spokesman for Benghazi's joint security team, told the Libyan newspaper.

Benghazi resident Sami Berriwen told CNN if the blast had occurred about an hour later than it did, the street would have been full of people walking to school or work.

Scores of U.S. Marines were moved closer to Libya before the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2011, terrorist attacks on the United States and the first anniversary of the attack on the Benghazi consulate, CNN said.

U.S. officials told CNN that 250 combat-ready Marines were moved from their base in Moron, Spain, to the U.S. naval installation at Sigonella, Italy, enabling them to reach Tripoli in three to four hours if needed.

A year already to find those responsible? Gee…all he needed was a mirror and the phone directory of his administration.

First thing he should do is admit to lying to the American people. Secondly, explain why security was denied when requested. Thirdly, who gave the order to stand down and refuse to go to the aid of the Americans. This is just another shell game this administration plays in order to cover for their incompetence. The same people who now want to bomb innocent civilians are doing so to cover for all the scandals confronting them, Benghazi, IRS , AP and NSA. The say they will do something about Benghazi which seems unlikely, but when are they going to do something about the others?

Contrast the efforts to come out with a report, whatever its defects, within days of the Syrian gas attacks and the torpor investigating Benghazi. Weeks to get anyone there. Few efforts to interview people. No reports , except reports of people being told not to talk to Congress. This is two-faced sanctimonious b.s. at it its worst Carney and the Administration of which he is the mouthpiece.

Obviously he studied at the OJ Simpson school of finding the perpetrators. The obvious place to look is on the golf course, which he has been diligently doing on our behalf.

We have some blatant scandal level cover ups within the Obama administration and every one of them have fizzled out as Obama, Eric Holder, liberal Congressional leaders, and the liberal media continue to ignore efforts to find out what happened and who was responsible for the decisions involved.

    1. The NBP dismissal of the voter intimidation trial that found them guilty by Eric Holder.

    2. The refusal of Eric Holder to provide in depth testimony and requested documentation relative to the “Fast and Furious” scandal which allowed over 2000 automatic weapons into Mexican cartel hands which some were used to kill Americans.

    3. The refusal of Eric Holder to expose why he unlawfully monitored the phone calls of numerous AP reporters.

    4. The refusal of Eric Holder to do anything about the unauthorized monitoring of oth phone calls and E-Mails of a FOX network Whitehouse reporter which he authorized to start with.

    5. The failure of Eric Holder to assign a special prosecutor to investigate the use of the IRS to target conservative and Tea Party groups requesting non-profit status leading up to the 2012 elections which led to the inability of hundreds of groups to raise money and facilitate conservative voters for Romney.

And on and on! such as the DOJ law suits against states for enforcing our immigration laws and for putting photo IDs in place for voter identification.

The Whitehouse circumvents Congress as a routine these days and continues to rewrite every policy in every major government entity giving the federal government more and more control.

Eric Holder, who is supposed to be our top cop as the Attorney General of the federal government has turned out to be our top law breaker at the federal level, and he is getting away with it.

And for who is he doing this? Well..our current President of course…as Holder is the “enforcer” for the Obama led Chicago style takeover of our federal government.

I can answer some your questions
#2. Obama gave executive order, where Holder doesnt have to disclose any info.. so that ends that subject..

#3. that order came from Obama.. that ends that subject..

#4 once again Obama gave that Order.. end of subject..

#5. Obama gave the order to do it.. and once again end of subject..

No American feels good about the deaths of other Americans at the hand of terrorists. But there are some aspects which we must not conveniently ignore.

They were killed ny the people who we put in charge of the country. The U.S. banking establishment was not happy that Gadhafi was trying to create a new and honest currency based on gold, which was a threat to the Corrupt western banking cartel’s fiat fraud.

The they, who really control government and policy, had Obama support the Al Qaeda terrorists to go into a sovereign country and slit the throat of a leader who was never a threat to us. The American people are also victims of the banking cartel.

Obama supported the action which ruined a country that was doing quite well before our aggression and murder by proxy.

I have heard the our consulate in Benghazi was running guns to others in the middle east.

But whatever the reason was for the attack, it never would have happened if not for our actions which set the whole thing in motion.

I want Obama and his handlers to be brought to justice, not only for abandoning the men in the consulate, but for the destruction of Libya and the murder of Gadhafi as well.

If we continue to behave without the honor which once made our country great, our country will be lost.

I’m afraid, just like Obama does in pressers with his long-winded answers, he is just going to run out the clock on Benghazi answers till he’s out of office.

Have a question…WHY ARE WE NOT PRESSURING our representatives for an impartial investigator of this. Does anyone believe Obama is going to do diddlie squat on this?

Time for someone outside this administration to look into this…Either that or we contact Snowden…he might know.

We ARE pressuring our representatives. But, frankly, they don’t really want to know the answers. Or more accurately, they already know the answers, but, as long as they can pretend they don’t, they don’t have to take any action that might cost them political points, or put them on the wrong side of the next “President Clinton” (God forbid!)

The White House will never allow a serious investigation of Benghazi because the primary guilty party is Hillary. Confirming that she is responsible due to her incompetence, arrogance and utter disregard for American lives, might damage her chances of becoming President. I say “might,” because too may voters are not paying attention and/or believe the MSM spin machine.
