If Hillary Clinton isn't in the 2016 U.S. presidential mix, a Washington Post commentary says Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano may be the woman to watch.
Before moving to Washington Napolitano was a well-regarded and popular governor in Arizona. Since arriving in the nation's capital she has made it known she's mulling making a run for higher office, the Post said Monday.
As governor, Napolitano was criticized for not being aggressive enough in addressing the influx of illegal immigrants. But as homeland security secretary, she has an opportunity in which to change that image, including a high-profile tour of the southwest border this week and discussing the resources the Obama administration has allocated to reducing the number of undocumented workers entering the United States.
The Post said immigration overhaul could give Napolitano the chance to put herself at the forefront of an issue of importance to the future of the Democratic Party.

mr.napolitano for president, another liberal drone moron in a high place of power.you have got to be kidding me.
February 5, 2013 @ 3:34 pm
Yep. The Moron Factor is mighty thick right now. A possible bright side: if she were to run, which is almost too repulsive to contemplate, but if she does and LOSES, that would be a way to get rid of this ******* and her GLBT acolytes (see photo) from the halls of HS? Forever! I hope. But to see too much of this creep all the way thru an American campaign cycle, which is about to start up again, would be too much to bear. I can hardly stand her in short sound bites! In the four years she’s been around I don’t think I have heard her utter one honest word. What a role model. Right up there with her boss in the lies department. Her friends in the LGBT wide weird world must have been nibbling on her ear, whispering little nothings to her to run, so maybe they’d all get plum jobs and have a chance to screw the pooch more than they already have. Also too pathetic to contemplate.

Capricorn 1 =I hope you were not mistaking Janet, for Judge N. It says mr. on your post.

Gopluva, with all due respect, be alert for sarcasm.
February 5, 2013 @ 1:37 pm
Right! She’ll have to beat Hitlary in the primary.
February 5, 2013 @ 2:53 pm
Physically?? I’d buy tickets to that!
February 5, 2013 @ 1:52 pm
After her tenure in AZ I cannot see how she could have any chance in national election. She was oh so tough talking on immigration and border security while here in AZ but actions in DC speak louder than words. All amnesty all the time and forget the border just let every Mexican and terrorist in.
February 5, 2013 @ 2:27 pm
Right on.
February 6, 2013 @ 6:16 am
How did Obama win a second term? I though that was impossible, but apparently, ignorance combined with skillful voter fraud goes a long way.
February 5, 2013 @ 2:27 pm
Let the witch run. She will never get more than 20% of the vote.
February 6, 2013 @ 1:50 pm
The scary part is she may get a 140% vote from the same folks that brought Obummer his outrageously impossible voter turnout.
February 5, 2013 @ 2:49 pm
She’d be more of a man than Oboy;-)
February 5, 2013 @ 4:07 pm
she is a man!
February 5, 2013 @ 11:37 pm
She just wishes she was half the man her mother was!
February 5, 2013 @ 5:01 pm
What if: Judge Napolitano was running against Janet Napolitano in 2016? Journalists could write the most confusing stories if they used only the last names. It already drives me up the wall when they use only the Clinton last name, and it is hard to tell if they are writing about Bill or Hillary.
February 5, 2013 @ 9:43 pm
I thought that was Janet Reno. She could have Sebilius as her running mate. Now that would our dream ticket for them.
February 5, 2013 @ 11:18 pm
I thought Hillary was going to ask Jane Fonda to run with her!
February 6, 2013 @ 12:17 am
How many circles of Hell did Dante write about?
This has to prove we are on an express train to the 9th Circle where we’ll find Satan, the Clintons, the Obama’s and Big Sis & Company all naked and playing “sudden death” volleyball.
February 6, 2013 @ 1:26 am
“Beloved” Governor of Arizona? Does she write her own copy. She left Arizona to the drug lords of Mexico and their militia that guards their routes. She’d just be an Obama in menopause!
February 6, 2013 @ 3:55 am
If this were to really happen, I think I’d be sick to my stomach.
February 6, 2013 @ 9:57 am
If she were to run for President, most of the Far Left Liberals, would die from Fast Acting Retrograde Tumoric Gasses (FARTS) . Then some, also, might die from Hemoraging Laughter. Maybe she should run, we could get rid of a bunch of Liberals at no cost to the Tax Payers. Thank you for your time. TSgt., USAF Retired.

I’m not an Obama lover, but the man has personality…it’s the only reason he won again. Napolitano? A piece of writing paper has more personality. Plus she can’t lead a horse to water where her leadership is concerned. If she didn’t have Obama behind her, she wouldn’t have gotten where she has. Who would raise money for her? Clinton sits at home and people want to give her money without her even saying she’ll run yet! I was always a Clinton supporter, but after Benghazi I was really disappointed in her handling–rather nonhandling–of the situation. And then placing the blame on others. Hopefully the GOP will find a candidate this time around who can be fully, “enthusiastically,” and strongly supported…
