Romney campaigns with GOP rising stars

By Steve Peoples

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - Mitt Romney is campaigning in Colorado alongside some the Republican Party's rising stars. And a few of them are thought to be potential running mates for the presidential candidate.

Romney says he's looking forward to working with GOP governors like Chris Christie of New Jersey, Nikki Haley of South Carolina and Virginia's Bob McDonnell.

Those governors and others joined Romney at a rally Thursday in Aspen, where the Republican Governors Association is meeting.

Other attendees include Govs. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Susana Martinez of New Mexico.

Romney is expected to announce his running mate any day.

Haley says she'll fight to get Romney elected. Christie says Romney's a better leader than President Barack Obama. And McDonnell says Romney is focused on the middle class.

It is going to have to be a team effort across the board in order to unseat the radical we have in the Whitehouse because they are “all in” to remain in control and are going to say or do whatever they think will give them an edge. They are well trained in intimidation, demeaning and gutter style politics, and will lie if necessary to win. They are the epitomy of Chicago style politics that was developed in the alleys and streets of Chicago.

Obama has never really won a fair election. There was a speaker at one of the CPAC meetings who was a manager within the ACORN organization that left and became a “whistle blower” to the corruption within ACORN and how it works. She admitted that the voting process in Democratic controlled districts was corrupt from the registration level to how the votes are counted. She also admitted that ACORN was taking money from donors to the Obama campaign who had maxed out their contributions directly. ACORN was taking their money and basically “laundering” it to then transfer it to the Obama campaign. They may have been handling union contributions as well.

This election is going to be gutter politics and the recent claim by Harry Reid that Romney has not paid any taxes in the last 10 years but will not reveal his source is just a simple example of what they will try to demean Romney’s candidacy. They are getting worried that he is actually doing well enough that he may beat Obama.

So, Americans who love this country and want to unseat Obama and his socialist CZARs have to band together and vote for Romney. Everyone will be better off once Obama and minions are out of the government.

Christie is weak on immigration and a loud mouth. McDonnell and Martinez are RINO moderates – we don’t need more “Romneys”. Haley, Jindal, and Rubio are not Natural-born citizens. Do we really want to be the same hypocrites the lunatic left are?? Are there any true conservatives left anymore???
