SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, a Republican often mentioned as a potential vice presidential candidate but who repeatedly has denied interest, has criticized fellow Republican Mitt Romney's stance on immigration.
Martinez questioned the likely GOP presidential nominee's "self-deportation" strategy during an interview with Newsweek.
The magazine quotes the governor as asking for the meaning of self-deportation. She also says she doesn't doubt that Hispanics were alienated during the campaign for the GOP nomination.
Martinez suggested that Romney remind voters that President Barack Obama failed to deliver promised comprehensive immigration reform.
This wasn't the first time Martinez has criticized GOP rhetoric on immigration. In a January interview with The Associated Press, she urged candidates to tone it down and engage with voters instead.
Martinez couldn't be reached Tuesday by the AP.

Yes, and any day now we can expect a column from Linda CHAVEZ supporting the New Mexico governor MARTINEZ on this. Then GOP darling Marco Rubio can chime in. Hispanics are sending a loud and clear message: They stick together as a special interest ethnic group, including advocating for illegals.

Don’t forget, that as a % of those who vote, MUCH is made out of the little, per the Hispanic vote. This is done for control. Once the Republicans can be guided into PANDERING, it is all over. Their MAJOR base, will loose interest, and go fishing.
ClarkC:
Ah, Linda Chavez, the ever smiling face of, Reconquesta. Looking up her Bio. she is into making money off of cleaning janitorial services! Es Muy PerfectO! She is all in favor of multitudes of nanny State obedient little Aliens, swarming over the Border, for cheeeep labor. Es muy profitable!
What is amusing about New Mexico, is that the very wealthy, keep arms distance from the multitudes that have flooded over from Mexico. Native Americans, well, they are having to, ah, share, again. At least they have their casinos now.
Val Kilmer, “Tombstone’s iconic Doc Holliday” has mentioned running for Gov. of New Mexico. Ain’t fool’n.

Here’s a stance on Immigration:
Millions Of Illegal Immigrants Are Using A Massive Scam To Get Bigger Tax Refunds Than You Are
……..sometimes claim 10 or 12 nieces and nephews as dependents, and most of the time those nieces and nephews do not even live in the United States………
