NEW YORK (AP) - Former President Bill Clinton says the problem with the green energy movement is a lack of financing behind it.
Clinton kicked off his annual philanthropic conference Tuesday morning with a discussion about addressing global climate challenges. The session was co-hosted by Mexican President Felipe Calderon and South African President Jacob Zuma.
The three-day Clinton Global Initiative brings together business and philanthropic leaders with deep pockets who make financial commitments aimed at tackling poverty and disease.
Leaders from several countries expressed frustration that the world still does not have a comprehensive agreement on carbon emissions. Clinton pointed to Germany's successful creation of solar energy jobs as a model.
Clinton says leaders must involve "the imagination of ordinary people" in solving the problems associated with climate change.

as soon as I get/find a job, i’ll contribute a dollar. another idea is, why don’t you ask gorbachov, he is an enviromentalist now. he should be happy to contribute, another guy to ask is warren buffet, i am sure he has lots of extra money laying around.

Nobel Winner Quits U..S. Science Group over climate stance. Obama supporter Ivar Giaever has resigned as a Fellow from the prestigious American Physical Society to protest the organization’s promotion of manmade global warming fears.
Put that in you pipe, Clinton, and smoke it.

The green movement, started fifty years ago, with the altruistic goals, of prevention of the spread of toxic waste into our soils, aquifers and waterways. Over the last two decades, however, the movement has ben hijacked by Marxists and Communists and is now used, as a tool to gain control of both our economy and our laws, governing the entire environment we live in.
The green movement is now, the biggest scam, ever to be perpetrated, not only on America, but on the entire western world.
Man made global warming is at the top of the scammers list. By mongering fear, they have spread this scam all over the world, reaping billions of dollars in profits for their conspiritor companies that produce green stuff.
The green movement is like a big boil on your backside. The only way to relieve your discomfort is to lance and remove the pus head on top of the boil, to allow the poison to drain.
We will lance and remove the pus head in 2012. The rest of the poison will drain automatically.

If there was a demand for ‘green,’ there’d be a line out the door of investors wanting to get in on it. So far, the only serious money we’ve heard of is ours. So far, no one’s asked for our consent, and for good reason. The answer would be a resounding, “NO!“

Just like fetal stem cells being the ultimate cure for everything, from Parkinson’s to thumbsucking, if there was a reasonable possibility of success for “green” anything, gubbmint wouldn’t need to throw money at it. Private industry would be all over it, and making tons of money while creating thousands of jobs at all economic levels!

Did the disgraced and impeached president ever wonder why the green movement lacks financial backing?
Or perhaps Clinton is pushing Green because he hopes to become first lady when the disgruntled Dems toss Obama aside for Hillary. Anyone see the editorial in the Chicago Tribune suggesting Obama step aside? That newspaper had supported Obama from the beginning.

Leave it to Bill Clinton to prove once again that there isn’t a single brain in his empty head.
Point #1 – There is no such thing as anthropomorphic global warming. It’s a hoax, a joke, a scam by people (notably Al Gore) who have a vested interest in fixing something that isn’t broken.
Point #2 – If there was any promise, however vague, that Green Business would be viable at any time in the forseeable future, normal people would be investing in it and they wouldn’t need constant “help” from the Government.
I’m sick and tired of people in Washington DC, who can’t even balance a checkbook, deciding who the business “winners and losers” should be.
