If walls were ineffective they wouldn’t spend so much time opposing them.
A Liberal Arts degree is ineffective and they want us to pay a trillion dollars so everyone could have one.
Spot on DrGadget.
While i was active, i often looked into college degrees. EVEN with me being an electronics technician, and having booku credits from all that, it would have still been ‘quicker’ to have gotten a LA degree.. Now i am glad i didn’t!
I did earn a college degree but noticed that many of my schoolmates graduated only being qualified to ask “do you want fries with that?”
Spending thousands on tuition, books, and housing and still be unable to gain productive employment is a tragic waste. Few are prepared to manage a business, or for that matter even reconcile their own bank statement or file their own tax return.
The good news is you don’t have to file a tax return if your income is low enough and of course you won’t even have a bank account.
Looks like they have all the skills they need with those degrees.
Since most probably had mom/dad pay for everything, even when they hit 18, of course most are ill prepared to manage finances..
At this time a 4 year apprenticeship to become a tradesperson is the best buy for your time investment. You work [OJT] for reasonable wages while attending the trade school one day per week, and you “graduate” into a higher paying, high demand job in the construction industry. I saw a lady who had a LA degree do that after her college, and is now extremely more successful financially than her “degreed” peers.
Which is while, when i was active, i was responsible for Pushing getting one’s apprenticeship done while you were in… PITY i never followed my own advice.
