Julie Mosher
Michigan Editor
Julie is a conservative warrior mom who believes that the cultural war is a series of battles that families all across America must win if the nation's children are to inherit an America where traditional family values have not disappeared.
Julie's political involvement began in the 1990's and had its seasoning during the 2000 Bush Ohio campaign in the most Democratic county in the state. She poured countless hours into the campaign, as well as being appointed the Director of Volunteers and Fund Raising for the congressional district race against Dennis Kucinich. She rightfully earned the nickname and the distinction as the "Karen Hughes" and "Ann Coulter" of the election season, because of her earnest and steadfast principled campaign drive in the neighborhoods of Lakewood and Cleveland, OH.
Leadership, vision and drive are all hallmarks of Julie's devotion to her conservative and Republican values which compliment her business acumen as well.
As the small business owner of OOHLA-LA Interior Design Boutique, she again demonstrated that you could be a traditional mom in America and still pursue a dream. When she started the company OOHLA-LA in March of 2001, she did it as most entrepreneurs have by embracing and acting upon a lifelong dream that she had always wanted to pursue.
The former Pennsylvania native began small and eventually was successful enough to open her own boutique in Rocky River, Ohio. OOHLA-LA was a very successful company in its first year of operation. Julie managed 10 people who sub-leased space from the building where they sold goods under the name OOHLA-LA.
She branched into her current business effort by turning what could have been a setback into a surplus when the building which housed her business was lost due to an "Eminent Domain" buyout. OOHLA-LA is an LLC company that is still in operation.
As an enterprising business owner she also happened to be an enterprising and informative writer as well. Julie wrote a regular column for an Ohio-based decorating magazine called Simply Home Magazine. She aptly addressed her target audience's interest which was primarily women focusing on decorating and engaging commentary about current events and living out the fulfillment of dreams. The monthly magazine was distributed throughout Northeast Ohio.
Jules, as she affectionately called by her friends, decided that being involved in conservative politics meant being a tireless warrior because her children's future was at stake. She joined the organization Protest Warrior and quickly was selected by national leadership to head up the NE Ohio organization. She is proud of their motto "Fighting the Left and Doing it Right". The organization's purpose is simple: they essentially expose the truth about the Left and their propaganda. They are able to accomplish this at liberal "hate rallies" that are launched against the president or any other conservative organization. Protest Warriors show up to protest these liberal actions. All is documented on video and in photographs to insure their safety and preserve what the Left truly stands for.
Her last video from the Michael Moore protest is in circulation in Washington exposing the 527 organization doing illegal activity. Protest Warrior has chapters in every city in the United States and abroad including Ireland, Germany, France, England, Spain, Italy and many others. The national organization has grown in a short period of time to 14,000 members strong.
While during election years Protest Warrior works tirelessly to support conservative Republican candidates they also support positive conservative causes such as adopting a soldier and greeting soldiers at the airport when they are returning home from overseas service.
Jules' heart for her own children and the children of Ohio and America comes, in part, from her experience as a former Pre-School Teacher at The Enrichment Center in North Royalton, OH. As a Pre-School teacher, she understood the value of being responsible for the educational and personal growth of each of the 25 - 30 children as well as for the planning and completion of their class curriculum.
Jules is embarking upon another career and is embracing it with the same professionalism she has brought to her business, political and professional activities. She will be the new co-host of "The 15-Minute Mom" syndicated segment on "The Kevin Fobbs Show" on 1400 WDTK-AM Weekdays at 2:00 p.m. Listen on-line at www.wdtkam.com and call in toll-free at 1-800-923-WDTK (9385).
