The media will grab at anything in their attempt to save Barack Obama from election defeat. As Ann Romney made the rounds following her stellar speech on Tuesday night, NBC anchor Brian Williams took her to task for simply saying, "I believe in my heart that Mitt is going to save America."
Such belief in someone's abilities should be commonplace for those on the left. Didn't people like Brian Williams think Barack Obama was going to save not just the country but the entire world?
First of all, Williams does the "unnamed source" routine with her by saying, "Someone who knows you conceded..." If Williams wants a comment to someone else's comment, then he should name the person. Otherwise, the line of questioning is done right there.
Then, to make it sound like Ann Romney's comments are bad is some sort of way is simply pathetic. Micelle Obama is the one who said, "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country."
Brian Williams should have just let this go. But nope, that's not what they do. Anytime they can make an issue (even if it's out of thin air), they will. It's simply pathetic.
