NBC's Brian Williams Has Problem with Ann Romney Comment

By GOPUSA Staff

The media will grab at anything in their attempt to save Barack Obama from election defeat. As Ann Romney made the rounds following her stellar speech on Tuesday night, NBC anchor Brian Williams took her to task for simply saying, "I believe in my heart that Mitt is going to save America."

Such belief in someone's abilities should be commonplace for those on the left. Didn't people like Brian Williams think Barack Obama was going to save not just the country but the entire world?

First of all, Williams does the "unnamed source" routine with her by saying, "Someone who knows you conceded..." If Williams wants a comment to someone else's comment, then he should name the person. Otherwise, the line of questioning is done right there.

Then, to make it sound like Ann Romney's comments are bad is some sort of way is simply pathetic. Micelle Obama is the one who said, "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country."

Brian Williams should have just let this go. But nope, that's not what they do. Anytime they can make an issue (even if it's out of thin air), they will. It's simply pathetic.

Brian Williams is a LIBERAL reporter who tries to to show only the LIBERAL viewpoints. Like most MEDIA sources he GLEAMS over the truth about this ADMINISTRATION. You never hear how M. Obama is for the first “time proud” of her country as well as ALL the corupt Obama CZARS that he has as advisers. How come Brian you do not get the real truth and just gleam over the real problem as we march down to a very important election shortly. Mr. Willams you need to go back to school and learn how to to explain and tell the truth! I for one will NO longer watch your news reporting as your slant to the left is truly a real piece of ****! Get with it Brian and come clean and report how this Admin steps all over the Consitution of this great country. Its time we elect a man who will get this country back on even keel…

Listening to the majority of newscasters, is nothing more than listening to a rich Hollywood star. Politicians and Stars are all so out of touch with reality, that they have no clue how the average individual has been affected by current events. No one with a brain, should believe anything they hear on TV. That devise is more for entertainment than for obtaining real news.

Ann Romney was Great and I doubt she would make us pay twice to go on a golfing trip to Hawaii, the Cape and wearing South African Flags around their bodies at the Olympics. I also think that Clint Eastwoods few minutes was spontaneous and funny.
I do think Clint was kinda right on WE The People owning this country. I think We hold the mortgage and pay for this country but others-Like the Obamas think they own it and pay nothing to use it!

Mrs O, on the other hand, is a lot like Hillary, she has “people” watching her husband when she can’t and is very jealous of any female who gets too close to him. If you have not read “The Amateur”, you would probably enjoy seeing what a jealous, insecure harpy Michelle Obama is!

Boehner is the sorriest example of a conservative Speaker there is! He has failed to bring votes to the House repeatedly and made deals with the devil..er, ah – ******. Boehner is a RINO of the first order, just a step above PEElosi and we absolutely need to dump him (and all career politicians) and get a true conservative as Speaker! Hell, Boehner even showed his ignorance by stating he had not even read the Republican Platform because it should be on one page. Maybe that’s how Ovomitcare was passed – no one, including Craybaby Boehner, read the thing!

While Boehner has certainly been a disappointment, I would hesitate to say he’s the worst. Let me remind everyone that it is the 535 members of Congress who have the Constitutional authority to pass laws and spend money. It is Congress who can stop a rogue President. They haven’t. Neither left, nor right. So what if Bills don’t get passed and are stopped by Reid? Get them entered into the record, make them public for everyone to see the evidence. Air the dirty laundry of Washington.

But! They can’t do that. They’re afraid of having their dirty laundry and crimes against the Constitution come to light. ALL OF THEM!

While the TeaParty is “trying” to do some of this, Boehner and the rest of the political elite are quite happy to sit by and pretend like they are fighting for us.

John Boehner tried to cut a deal with President Obama when the need to raise the debt limit was needed last fall, and Obama killed the agreement at the last minute. Boehner even played a round of golf in an attempt to create a positive relationship, but Obama thought Boehner would cave when he came back to Boehner and changed the deal, but…it didn’t happen…Boehner didn’t cave and is why Boehner and Obama don’t get along. Under Boehner’s leadership, the House has written and approved over 30 pieces of legislation including 15 dealing with job creation, but Harry Reid refuses to bring any of the legislation up for an up or down vote in the Senate. As soon as the Democrats lost control of the House and Pelosi lost her Speaker job to Boehner, Harry Reid made a statement that he wasn’t going to do much of anything as he is waiting to see what happens in the election this year.

Boehner is a good man who puts the good of the country above politics whereas for politicians like Reid, Pelosi, and Obama, it is all about politics and getting re-elected.

LAPhil, you have the comprehension of a low grade moron with that statement that Boehner is the best speaker in years. The colluding, conciliatory speaker has proven himself to be lacking the fortitude to stand firm on Republican tenets of small government, fiscal responsibility with his signing on with the Obama admistration for increased debt, compromising on whatever is asked by the socialist left and allowing the despicable Harry Reid to get what the leftists want. The House holds the purse strings. There was never any real fight to Boehner.

I have never heard “some people say” phrase used as a factual anecdote ever so and I’ve watched Fox News for about 10 years……right after I realized the main stream media was just a shill for the liberal agenda. I often research stories I’ve heard on various Fox programs and the couple of times when info was wrong, they owned up to it immediately. No spin.

It is no surprise that NBC is taking issue with an outstanding demonstration of loyalty and respect for a man with a history of making commitments and following through with them. It’s high time that we examine commitments vs. results for both candidates. The facts will speak for themselves. I just hope that Americans are listening to and examining the facts and demonstrated results when they make their way to the polls. The rhetoric and negative campaigning seem to appeal to those that are uninformed and lacking in intellect. Its unfortunate that the American public doesn’t understand that a responsibility of the freedoms that we enjoy is becoming informed and less dependent on reporters who will always bring their own biases to their job. Free thinkers might be best served by watching CSPAN rather than the left OR right wing media.

I will never understand why the “news media” would be either liberal or conservative. I always thought, naive me, that it was their job to report the news, not to editorialize and to add their own political opinions to “the news.” What has happened to journalism in this country? It seems to have gone the way of the Model T Ford automobile. Shame on Brian Williams and his other cronies who color what goes on in the world, with their own shades of grey.

Well Brian Williams, perhaps Mitt will save the USA from the 16 trillion dollar debt. One thing for sure, Obama has had 4 years and no plan, and he has in fact dramatically increased the problem to a severe crisis level with his reckless spending.

Oh he had a plan! In 2008 he had ALL of the answers. There was no problem so big BO couldn’t fix it in his 1st term. He said so. It’s just his answers, like his plans were all ignorant, impossible, totally wrong and completely un-American.

Who watches Brian Williams, anyway? I do not believe since Williams has been on the air that I have ever watched him do the news. I have tried. I tried to watch Rock Center (or is it 30 Rock-I’m joking) when Chelsea Clinton tried to be a TV reporter. But that was pretty bad and I have never watched since.

Conservatives on Fox try to make him into a decent, upstanding, nonpartisan guy apart from MSNBC but I don’t buy it for a minute. I have even seen him open the door for Obama and bow down to him. He fits right in with NBC News.

Brian needs to worry about “saving” his own career. NBC is a joke.

These Media types promote the Muslim America Hater in the White House and perpetuate Marxist Agendas. Joseph Stalin and Mao would be proud of the the ****** Bag called Brian Williams.

NBC is a **** Network and he is part of that pile.

The bias drips from their lips continuously. Not only Brian Williams but mostly every anchor for all the major network stations. I am not talking of cable, however they have their fair share also. I didn’t and will not listen to Comrad Williams but ironically his question could be considered legitimate if he asked, what has Mitt done in the past to have you feel he will save America, or sum such statement. If it were a legitimate question the answere would have ruined his motive. Don’t waste your time with the fools of the media. Instead of TV being the great tool of civilization it’s dumbed us down to 27th place in the world of academics. Total failure can’t be far behind. Under Obama it’s here.

Bernard Goldberg summed it all up with his book (great by the way) A SLOBBERING LOVE AFFAIR. And I agree….TV is the slime of the airwaves…and it’s oozing along on your living room floor.

Brian Williams, NBC: pathetic reporting. Too bad NBC is on the OBAMA dole. They are going to have to ask themselves: is the loss of our creditability worth the shamefully biased reporting? The media is supposed to be unbiased. Other than sports, I doubt that I’ll ever watch another NBC newscast.
