Spike Lee Says Obama is 'Not Perfect'

By GOPUSA Staff

Times have changed. When Barack Obama was first running for president, his supporters thought he was the second coming. They thought he would magically transform America into some kind of utopian society. Now, we are hearing excuse after excuse, and the shine is coming off the Obama halo.

In an interview to air on CNN, Politico.com reports that film director Spike Lee is now saying that Barack Obama is "not perfect."

Spike Lee said President Barack Obama is "not perfect," but that expectations for his first term "were way too high."

"He was a savior, black Jesus," the actor-director told CNN's Don Lemon in an interview airing in its entirety Saturday. "Look, I don't care who it was. Expectations were way too high."

Lee accused Republicans of gridlocking Congress to prevent Obama from winning a second term -- "a Congress that's solidified as saying, 'Whatever you do, we're blocking that. We're blocking, and every breath we take, we're going to do what we can that you don't get a second term. Bottom line. And if it hurts America in the process, tough business.'"

I just don’t understand how people think that the President is going to lead them to the promised land.He is only a figurehead to help make decisions on running the country.Germany had Der Fuehrer that they followed down the road to ruin. Before you follow someone find out where they are going.??????????

One big difference. Obama is a puppet and George Soreos is the puppet master.

      theoldsarge,

I used to think it was Soros, but he’s too visible. It’s somebody we don’t know about. Soros is obviously funding it, but I think somebody else is calling the shots on the current iteration of the Manchurian Candidate. That’s not substantiated fact, just a gut feeling.

Yep, that pretty much sounds like ol’ Spike is making excuses for Obozo. But what could he do? Obozo promised the nation “Hope and Change” in 2008 but he has dashed our hopes and tried to take the little change he has left us out of our pockets.

Obozo has been an abject failure. What more could his supporters do but make excuses?

This is the man who jumped on the bandwagon with Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson when they had Zimmerman tried and convicted before he was even charged and arrested. This is the man who put an elderly white couple in danger when he published their address as the place Zimmerman could be found. I have more respect for cockroaches.

“Spike Lee said President Barack Obama is “not perfect,” but that expectations for his first term “were way too high.”

Expectations ere “too high” because the Obama media bombarded the gullible, ignorant masses and they wouldn’t listen to reason. A man asked for the job but refused to tell us anything about his background, ran a campaign on slogans with no substance, and saw stupid people praising him because they wouldn’t need to pay their house payments or put gas in their cars if Obama was elected.

After four years, many failures, and even violation of several federal laws, it is amazing that Obama still has as much support as the media claims.

Then “Lee accused Republicans of gridlocking Congress to prevent Obama from winning a second term”. NO, the Senate Democrats have gridlocked Congress by refusing to negotiate with anything the Republican House approves. If the Republicans really wanted to keep Obama from a second term, they have had several excellent opportunities to impeach him.

That HAS TO BE the understatement of the year; more like the last four years: Ozero is not perfect.

I learned to speak Ebonics back in Chicago and “not perfect” translates to “abject failure”.

I can see where this is going; anybody who didn’t believe in Obama is a racist and anybody who did believe in him and is now disappointed is a racist for having unrealistic expectations.

The gridlock in Congress is NOT the republicans. Everything gets stalled in the Senate which is controlled by the Democrats and Harry Reid.

Spike Lee he of ‘getting a simple address wrong’,admits The One/Captain Zero is not perfect. Spike’s moniker should be Captain Obvious, as all anyone with eyes has to do is ‘look around’ to see that.
Slowly but surely Progressives are trickling out of the woodwork and Ceeing Their A’s, to be able to claim “…I told you so…” in Mid-November.
Gamblers commonly label this as ‘hedging your bets’, and is so very transparent, it should be surrounded in Neon ,24/7/365. But I’ll settle for ,…oh, say…88 days or so.
