Black Pastor Blasts Obama for Supporting Gay Marriage

By GOPUSA Staff

The leader of the Coalition for African American Pastors unleashed a barrage of criticism against Barack Obama for his support of same-sex marriage. Rev. William Owens said, "For the president to bow to the money as Judas did for Jesus Christ is a disgrace and we're ashamed."

The leader of a group of black pastors opposed to gay marriage lashed out at President Barack Obama during a Tuesday appearance at the National Press Club. In his remarks, Rev. William Owens accused Obama of being "unprofessional" for ignoring him and insinuated that Obama had condoned child molestation by endorsing gay marriage.

"If you watch the men who have been caught having sex with little boys," said Owens, "you will note that all of them will say that I was molested as a child. A man molested me in my home, wherever they will say they were molested. And for the president to condone this type thing knowing the full facts is just irresponsible."

I watched this pastor and his group taking on Obama and their stand for traditional marriage- one man- one woman- & couldn’t believe what was happening. If ever there was a group of people that need to have their homes solidified, it’s the black community. They should have gone ahead & admitted that the government is further dividing their race by paying them to be irresponsible and stay single while having children.

Truly refreshing to see decent Black people unafraid to part with Obama and choose to be supportive of our Nation’s Judeo-Christian principles. I congratulate them all and they have my full support.

Now, let’s see how much Media coverage this gets.

Guts, what guts, you are hilarious. You are speaking about a liar a person who would sell his own mother to get back in the white house. Obama encourages racism and hatred for political gain. Obama and his supporters constantly use race to demonize opponents and distract from actual issues of substance. How discussing. Unfortunately it his not his last attempt to use race as a campaign strategy.

On a different note obviously you do not eat at Chick-fil-A.

An abomination? For sticking up for peoples rights to be happy? You guys are hilarious, you pretend to be christians but seem to be filled with so much hatred….Actually, scratch that. That IS very christian of you.

Gay people dont affect you, don’t hurt you, they have no bearing on your life, yet you want to make their lives miserable. How sad.

So much hatred. What was it that Jesus preached again?…it starts with an L i think.

No, gay people do not affect me at all. I have nothing against gay’s I grew up with 2 friends that turned out to be gay. This whole thing is about the FREEDOM of speech! Not whether gays can marry or not. The government has no right to tell a business that it cannot open in their city because the COO of the business has his own views and beliefs on gay marriage.

I do not hate gays and I am not a homophobe. I just have my own beliefs that is all. And as far as our “MESSIAH OBUMMER” HE IS A LIAR TO THE NTH DEGREE AND HE HAS PROVEN IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN! HE IS AN ABOMINATION TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE U.S.

In 2004, Obama publicly supported domestic partnerships and civil unions. He also took the opportunity to say that, unlike his statement in 1998, he did not support gay marriage.
“I am a fierce supporter of domestic-partnership and civil-union laws,” he said. “I am not a supporter of gay marriage as it has been thrown about primarily just as a strategic issue.”
Hmm, Obama was a homophobe and a bigot? Which cities banned HIM from coming to visit?
Flash forward a few years to the 2008 election cycle, during which Obama affirmed that he believes marriage to be between one man and one woman.“I am not in favor of gay marriage,” Obama said. “But when you start playing around with constitutions, just to prohibit somebody who cares about another person, it just seems to me that’s not what America’s about.”, he also said: ”I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian … it is also a sacred union.” (Exactly what the CEO of Chick-fil-a said) “Sacred union”? What a homophobic bigot! Do you now see the hypocritical double standard now exposed over the whole Chick-fil-a position? Guess Obama no longer views Marriage as a sacred union. Wonder what he thinks it is now. Liberals make me want to puke.

And ukguy if you read this comment know that we’re not all like this, and “apologists” aren’t apologizing for “our exceptionalism” we’re apologizing for the bigots that say stuff like this. Kind of like apologizing for your drunk uncle to a friend that comes to dinner.

** Rev. William Owens said, “For the president to bow to the money as Judas did for Jesus Christ is a disgrace and we’re ashamed.”**
Good for the black pastors to come together to condemn barrack hussein, the problem is that either the pastors do not fully understand that barrack IS NOT a Christian, and therefore their condemnation is meaningless to him and to his ultimate purpose, which is to extract all money from those who work and produce, to put that wealth in the hands of the governing elite, and to spread misery evenly in this country — or, that barrack is counting on the fact that many blacks expect to be heavily favored on the ‘re-distribution’ free-for-all he promise them, and they don’t give a KRAP about what the pastors say or do. They will ultimately prefer GREED and SLOTH to religious advice.
A great number among them have been raised in poverty, in fatherless households, constantly exposed to crime, and without any faith. barrack is counting on whatever greed he can induce upon them to get their vote, and the stats say that about 95% of them have already been convinced.
It’s likely that, given his hatred for whites, at this point barrack would sell his own mother into slavery [if she were alive], in order to get another 4 years to finish the wrecking of this country he also hates. That is the job his puppeteers assigned him to do, and he will complete it by hook or crook.

Instead of taking the verse out of context and trying to make it say something it doesn’t say, quote the whole verse. It goes on to say that you will be judged with the same judgment you judge others. When people point out the deception, lies, and distortions committed by Obama, we are not judging him–we are just being honest which is something that he hasn’t been able to accomplish. If I judge Obama for his dishonesty I am willing to be judged on the same basis.

What a genius Owens is! Finally we learn the truth: granting marriage licenses causes people to molest children. That would explain Jerry Sandusky’s horrible behavior. If only Jerry and the enabler Mrs. hadn’t been granted a marriage license, none of his crimes would ever have occurred.

Very logical, Reverend Bill … not.

But for someone to compare all gay people to a child molestor is just ignorant, malicious, and plainly stupid. I’m ashamed that as a denouncer of Obama that I will be lumped into the same category as this man who says that to condone gay marriage is to condone child molestation, which is so far from the truth it’s apalling
