Second-Term Agenda would continue Obama's Transformation of America

By GOPUSA Staff

Remember how Barack Obama campaigned for president? He spoke about hope and change. He talked about ending partisan differences and bringing people together. Instead, Obama gave us partisan bills such as Obamacare, spiraling deficits and debts, class warfare, and racial rhetoric. But that's just the first term. What would a second term have in store?

Aaron Klein, writing in a column on Fox News, says that any assumptions or ideas regarding Obama's second term "do not scratch the surface of the specific, transformative assault that is planned upon our country."

Here are some of the second-term plans we uncovered:

-- The re-creation of a 21st-century version of FDR's Works Progress Administration program within the Department of Labor that would oversee a massive new bureaucracy and millions of new federal jobs;

-- An expansive, de facto amnesty program for illegal aliens via both executive order and interagency directives linked with a reduction in the capabilities of the U.S. Border Patrol.

-- A National Infrastructure Bank that would evaluate and finance infrastructure projects of substantial regional and national importance" and would finance "transportation infrastructure, housing, energy, telecommunications, drinking water, wastewater, and other infrastructures."

-- The wresting of control of the military budget from Congress by placing an "independent panel" in charge of military spending while slashing the defense budget in shocking ways.

-- A new "green" stimulus program and the founding of a federal "green" bank or "Energy Independence Trust," which would borrow from the federal treasury to provide low-cost financing to private-sector investments in "clean energy. "

-- Detailed plans to enact single-payer health care legislation controlled by the federal government.

Klein notes that the "blueprint" for a second term was uncovered "by investigating the policy papers and legislative proposals of the same progressive shadow groups that crafted Obama's first term."

It’s supposed to be 90 again today in Jersey; with the usual high humidity. But, if you want to be chilled read the great Thomas Sowell, who, writes of conditions and looming unpleasant
situations. He uses the word, “dismantling” instead of transforming. Same result:We;re going to lose America! No one asked us; we didn’t vote for it, so it’s BEING TAKEN! We don’t let others take – why are the voters ALLOWING the despicable one to continue. (The polls have him in the lead.) Incredible.Obama must be defeated so we can experience , once again, the warmer, better climate of a gov’t more on our side.

“No one asked us; we didn’t vote for it, so it’s BEING TAKEN!”

How many things have been done that “we didn’t vote for”? This issue has become bigger than the Obama administration and blame can be laid at the feet of Congress.

The current administration has violated several federal laws, circumvented Congress and destroyed the separation of powers, yet Congress has stood by and allowed him to get by with it.

Obama and Eric Holder should have both been impeached the moment they decided to stop enforcing the Defense of Marriage Act. This federal law was approved by both houses of Congress and signed into law by Bill Clinton. It is a crime for Obama to choose which laws he wants to enforce and which ones he allows to fall by the wayside because he disagrees or they don’t meet his agenda. Since Obama was allowed to violate one federal law without repercussions, he moved on and decided to grant “amnesty” to illegal aliens, another violation of federal law.

I have stopped blaming Obama because he has made it clear that he is a Marxist with dreams of being dictator. There are only a few ways to stop him and the only legal way is for Congress to impeach him or the people to vote him out of office. However, because of the class warfare and race warfare that Obama has used throughout his first term, there are still almost half of the people who will vote for him to have a second term. So unless Congress decides to act, he will be given a second term and the U.S. will continue to be dismantled. Think about that.

It may seem that impeachment is an option, but it isn’t. The House can vote a Bill of Impeachment, but it takes a 2/3s vote in the Senate to convict and they can’t even get bills past Reid’s in-basket.

      middleground,

Think back to when Bill Clinton was impeached. The HOUSE votes to impeach, and the SENATE determines the punishment. Harry Reid would not be able to stop the impeachment.

If Obama was impeached by the HOUSE because of “high crimes and mistermeanors”, especially violating federal laws, do you really think the Democrats in the Senate would stand with him? They would throw him under the bus in a New York minute. Don’t you think there are enough Democrats who are fed up with him that they couldn’t reach a 2/3 majority?

The sad part about the entire mess is that the Republican HOUSE is afraid of Obama for at least two reasons: 1) he is black and they are afraid of being called racists, and 2) he is a Chicago-style thug and they are afraid of his associates.

Response to middle ground…perhaps it’s time to impeach Harry Reid.

I do not relish the sound or inference of “United Socialist States of America”. This jerkwad makes Alfred E. Newman look intelligent.

He’s a Socialist, which is a Nazi, so there is no question as to what is going to happen if he stays in We, the People’s Office. We are in the final stages of the setting up of a Nazi regime so, if he stays, we will all have to learn a new song…”Hi, ho! Hi, ho! It’s off to the bio-cookers we go!” Everybody should pack a bag and get ready to make a run for the hills if he gets re-elected, before he has a chance to put all of us into prisons, in concentrations, and decide to do with us as Hitler did to those whom were before us. We must continue to fight the nazis and not stop until We, the People, actually HAVE Our NATION back under God’s control.

Obama hates the Capitalist system because he thinks that it exploits blacks and Hispanics. Obama and the left in general do not think that minorities and women can make it in the USA without getting special treatment from the government. Obama would rather see the USA become a country where everyone is equally poor, than continue with the current Capitalist system where many blacks and Hispanics are poor.

I agree that neither are a prize. My thoughts on that though are that a first term president who is looking toward re-election is less dangerous than a second term president who has nothing to lose at that point. Honestly though, if Obama wants a second term I don’t think he is going to let something as trivial as an election stand in his way.
