Obama's State of the Union = "Built to Last"?

By Kay Daly

President Obama's speechwriters have to stop ripping off television slogans for their "big idea" themes. First it was years of Bob the Builders's "Yes, We Can!" And with apologies to GMC trucks, tonight's State of the Union address will usher in the buzzwords "Built to Last" to describe America.

Before Obama took the oath of office, America was so much more than a slogan and certainly more than Chevy tough.

Tonight will be the opening salvo of the Obama 2012 campaign, but the continuining saga of class warfare on parade. You know their theories already. Work is bad, government is good. People who make a lot of money are evil and their money should be restributed to someone who is not making a great deal of money just because. Small businesses, private companies are clearly doing something illegal, wrong and unethical versus government which is pure and virtuous.

Tonight, Obama will be the consummate snake oil salesman, selling a gullible America a whole laundry list of endless amounts of stuff that we will end up regretting later and saddling our kids and grandkids and great-grandkids with the bill for our impulsiveness.

Check out these talking points and ask yourself these questions --
1)Haven't you heard it all before from this guy and
2)Why exactly aren't you better off than you were four years ago and
3)Can America survive another drop of snake oil?

Shouldn’t it be alright for the current occupant to use the slogan since it’s “Government Motors” now?

Obama is a liar nothing more, when he opens his mouth. We are not better off than when he took office. Everything cost more especially energy cost. The blame lays directly on Obama’s shoulders. There are more than 2 million less jobs than when Obama took office. So how are things better. They are not Obama lies!

If Obama is reelected our nation will be in ruin. Obama is a traitor to America, to the American Dream and all who aspire to achieve the American Dream. These fools who support Obama either hate America or are just that brained washed.
Health care has gone up on average about $3,000 per family. Obama said it would go down $2,500 per family. WRONG!
He said time and time again that we cant afford to mortgage our children’s future on mountains of debt. That is exactly what Obama has been doing. Building that mountain higher. January 2009 the debt was 10.6 trillion. as of January 2012 the debt is 15.2 trillion. In three years he added close to 5 trillion and he wants to add a couple more. In 2009 he said the debt was equal to each citizen owing $30,000 and said that was just plain wrong. Now it must be close to $45,000.
Knowing nothing about business, Obama claimed that we could create 5 million high paying jobs. Anyone who bought into that was definitely in La-La land. In his three years his administration has been issuing 125,000 work visas a month. Do the math Obama is putting foreigners to work . Not Americans!

    IMPEACH OBAMA NOW! ! ! ! !

I do not believe that the “president” is Christian in any way at all, I honestly believe that he is
of the Muslim faith,if he is of any faith at all! He has proven to be a messenger of falsehoods!
