Oh my, still reeling from from the Fort Hood tragedy. Liberals of course have already completely sympathized and victimized the terrorist who did this. Infuriating and then some aren't even liberals--I don't know why the Judge on Glenn Beck spoke first to a psychiatrist --it was totally bogus--even Greta VanSusteren wrote a ditty on ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????--it was SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD--go to gretawire to read it.

The Fort Hood Officer Sgt. Kimberly Munley is the hero of the year! She didn't wait for back up (which is where heroism is PROVEN) and drew the gunfire to her. She was shot twice in the thigh and the shots went through to her other thigh and also in the wrist but still kept firing finally putting him down (but not out ) They're saying now he's paralyzed. I have seen some "tweets" where Muslim radicals call Hasan 'Officer and a Gentleman' but the tweeter sited WND so I take that with a pillar of salt.

And then Orlando--don't you know the gun control people are having a hey-day but if good guys were carrying guns in both of these situations, might there have been LESS CARNAGE? Yes. Too bad the military didn't have weapons issued--it seems like officers should always have one on.

So, what's going on this weekend? Tomorrow the big bill will be voted on. May it die before it ever gets breath.

The Ft. Hood stuff happened and kind of shut out the news of the "House Call" but wasn't it a great showing, and the speeches that I was able to hear were GREAT!

I have finished planning my day menu. Last night, I went over to my parents house for dinner and discussed it with my mom.

I haven't been posting much but have been doing lots of reading.

Things are letting up in the MD visit deprtment at last. Joe is quite stable and we are able to maintain a routine now.

I am so sick of the Health care battle. My Rep is voting NO. I am so tired of having things crammed down my throat.

If these yokels would just vote the way their constituents tell them to vote the bill probably would not pass. But, they seem to be letting the Queen Bee force them to do her will.

We will be going to the theatre tomorrow to see 1776. I am really looking forward to it.

Our weather is absolutely gorgeous today. Hurricane Ida is back out over water and I heard that we may have some rain over the next weekend.

Ben, yer not wrong. Here's the problem, yer going to find muslims in critical jobs, like the Ft. Hood shooter.

There is a shortage in the medical branch of all military. Especially psychiatrists, and especially those trained to treat PTSD in warriors.

Peace time is a small military, and ONLY the best of the best are allowed to join. Those with degrees, no dependents and so on. The standards are VERY high. They are simply keeping the machine well oiled and running.

Wartime, not so much. The machine is bigger, is scattered to the four winds, and critical jobs become more critical, so the numbers are higher, but the standards lower.

I recruited just before 'Nam ended, my quotas were different than when the war ended. My quotas became, in peace, high school grads or better (for enlisted!), NO dependents and a Class I mental status (high IQ). NO criminal record, no matter how petty, even "excessive" traffic tickets, were not considered!

Wartime...any warm body, even with a criminal record, would do. A felon would require a judge's waiver, and if I knew the judge and the judge knew the family, a waiver could be granted, depending on the seriousness of the felony. Murders and rapists? NO. Robbers and DUI's? Yeah.

I saw people with minimal mental capacities being recruited for bullet catchers, as some referred to them.

Now ya know.

However, there is no excuse for allowing someone whose religion requires them to kill anyone who doesn't share their religious beliefs, that's asinine.

Oh, did I mention...it's a lovely day in my corner of Paradise?

That's an understatement. When I opened the first video, where she talks about the inhternet, I thought it was a bad link -- until she started talking and they showed her up close. and I didn't like what she had to say about the internet, either.

I had heard that Chuck DeVore is a true conservative, but had not heard him speak. I'm impressed. but will have to do some homework on him.

I just wish the interview about the internet had gone a little more into depth. If she was talking about pornography (abuse of women and children) I think that should be extremely well controlled.

When I first got my computer I got on a couple of websites that just about popped my eyeballs out. I didn't have any idea what I typed in would bring these sites up. I simply typed in a woman's name whose bona fides I was checking out and up came homosexual websites. They were written so carefully it was hard to tell what they were. I think I was on the second page before I finally found the woman's name. I had no idea why the other websites were first at that time. I know enough now to keep going until I get what I'm looking for iinstead of looking at the first ones that come up.

I don't believe pornography is covered under the First Amendment. It's not speech, it's behavior and it is, for the most part unacceptable behavior except for those with a kink in their brain. This is one of the things that liberals have foisted on the public and made us to feel as though we're passe, uncool, ignorant and anti-first amendment.

Au contraire, mon amis. We have/had a right to control behavior within our sphere as in community mores. We let ourselves be buffaloed in this matter to my everlasting regret!

Did Fiorina have cancer? Her hair is so short it doesn't look like the hairdo of one who simply likes short or spiked hair.

Good afternoon everyone, It certainly looks like an individual ideology, its self-proclaimed voice of the majority, assumes they are acting of the publics wishes, has they attempt to overide the will of our ruling power. While I've been watching this process today on FoxNews, I've been preparing for their assault on my life, and choices made to live independently. Having for months, been waiting for Chase bank, and the loan modification process, a Nov. 5th article by USA TODAY, brought to light the reason of their delays, and the liberal lefts further intrusion into the freedoms, and liberties of a public they use for their own opportunities.

Being now in the process of reverting to survival mode, I will die to live independently, and not be forced into sending American dollars into the well of left support. The left is stealing, and killing the abilities of America, Americans, for their own prosperity, of their own decisions. All of it backed up with a sea of papers, its rules, and regulations, completely over riding the checks, and balances, of the ruling party.
