Our clueless Commander in Chief
Clarice Feldman
The American Thinker
Twelve soldiers were murdered in cold blood at Fort Hood, Texas. Thirty others were wounded. Our Commander in Chief calls a press conference and begins it with a long thanks to the Department of the Interior and Native Americans who just concluded a conference and then gives a good natured "shout out" to an attendee , all with a studied nonchalance, before he even mentions the outrage on our military base.
Study it and pass it on because the media is already cutting the tape to make the man look presidential instead of clueless and immature.
J.C. Arenas adds:
Notice him looking down at the podium as he’s making the comments.
More
This is absolutely unbelievable. We had dead soldiers, attacked on their own base, inside our own borders, and this fool is rattling on about the conference he was attending.
His remarks began at 31 seconds into this video but he didn't get around to mentioning the attack until 2:30. He spent a full 2 minutes droning on about a conference that he considered more important than our soldiers.
The video is on our sidebar and at the link above for now. As Ms. Feldman notes it may be removed or cut at any time.

Re: Our clueless C in C
Anyone actually surprised?
Since General McChrystal delivered his request to Obama on Aug 30th, there have been exactly 100 American soldier deaths in Afghanistan. That is a 230% increase from the same time last year. There has been a 270% overall increase in troop deaths since Obama was elected.
He uses troop deaths as photo-ops.
He plays politics with our troops. Our young men and women in uniform are nothing more than a political football to him. (Maybe I should say basketball).
This clearly tells us where his priorities are. He is not clueless -- he is a Marxist ideologue. He doesn't care. He is forcing Cap & Trade, the Copenhagen Treaty to redistribute wealth on a global scale, and health care on all of us to take more power and increase the govt takeover of business to the 50% threshold.
THIS MAN WANTS CONTROL OVER US!

Not surprised at all except that I would think he would have enough awareness to pretend that it was important to him.
But the pretense comes now....

Obama to Visit Walter Reed After Fort Hood Shooting
In the wake of the deadliest mass shooting at a U.S. base, President Obama is expected to talk about the tragedy at the White House Friday morning and later visit Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Obama will also talk about the economy at the White House following Friday's government report that showed the unemployment rate has surpassed 10 percent for the first time since 1983.
Obama is expected to emphasize the benefits of a new bill that will provide tax incentives to prospective homebuyers and extend unemployment benefits to the longtime jobless. The president is expected to sign that bill into law shortly before his comments.

Re: Our clueless Commander in Chief
I remember him saying during his campaign tour,
"Words ...Just words". This asinine Unqualified
IMPOTUS joke is still in campaign mode and these are just words, IMHO.

White House aides said the delay is not because of the shooting aftermath but because he wants to visit closer to the vote expected as early as late Saturday.
|
Wha'? Am I missing something here? What does visiting Walter Reed have to do with the Saturday vote on the Obamacare bill?
Does this administration think that people in the hospital and medical personnel at WR have some kind of magic that will rub off on him?
I'm so sick of the out and out lies told by these people!!!

that is because he is lying thru his teeth!! looking away instead of directly at people, looking to the left or down is an indication of a lie being told!!
he is no more a cic than the man in the moon. he is looking at the teleprompter to see if it will tell him what he should do!!!!!!! when it comes to america or her defenders his heart is as black as he is! he could no more care about that than stepping on a roach, when he should be caring more about our service members instead of the shooter being muslim.
he should have immediately done a statement, but what does visiting walter reed have to do with the shooting at ft hood?? that is where he should be visiting!!!!!!
anyone wanna bet that he will pardon the sob before he gets out of office????

Charie, I hear you. But I am also sick of those same lies being not only promulgated by our media, but by the people who believe these lies, despite all evidence to the contrary, and will defend to the death the lies and the liars who tell them.
Scratch defending to the death our country and defending and nurturing those who put their lives on the line FOR our country. It's the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT who matters...to the media, the people and to the LIC (Liar in Chief) himself.
I need some arugula, ya think?

Re: Our clueless Commander in Chief
As a American, a vet and a man who gives this country all A's, the man we are to call a POTUS is so much of an embarrassment to this nation it is impossible to call him a leader or even the CIC.
For all those at Ft. Hood and all those serving in our armed forces everywhere, we as American citizens in the civilian sector are going to do everything we can to right this wrong and give you leadership that is dependable and straight forward about the needs of this nation. We as citizens have learned that maintaining this country takes a lot more than words and we know that leadership is comes from having been in the saddle and held on for the ride. I promise all of you to correct this abuse of office and return the quality we all yearn for.

Re: Our clueless Commander in Chief
Story is going mainstream....
Quote:
Obama's Frightening Insensitivity Following Shooting
NBC Chicago
President Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.
After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks.
