Senator DeMint bucks Republican party, backs conservative in California race

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) endorsed conservative California State Assemblyman Chuck DeVore (R) Tuesday, once again going against the wishes of his party.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has made no endorsement in the California Senate race, but party leaders favor former Hewlett-Packard executive Carly Fiorina (R), a wealthy centrist whom many believe could give Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) a strong challenge.

Hmmmmmmm, Don't know about that, Maybe. I don't know how well a conservative like DeVore would prevail. If a California Conservative is anything like a Texas Conservative, it will be a long shot. IMHO

It is my belief that Fiorini has a very good chance at winning this election and unseating Senator Barbara Boxer.

For the first time in a very long time, Forini is seen as a formidable Republican candidate who can beat a Democrat.

As much as I like DeVore, I don't believe he has a name that is publicly recognizable as Fiorini's or has her stature, presence or corporate, executive business experience.

She is truly a problem solver and knows how to make a business run, thrive and grow.
