Default Hr 1388 outrage

Hr 1388 the Give Act, a Clean Energy Corps, a Classroom Corps a Veterans Corps?
This is much more, we have these already, all these groups but those are mostly faith based and/or charitable organizations. Hr 1388 is all government control and a huge expansion of government. No more scouts, it could now be the Scout Corps? No more USO, it could now be the Veterans Corps? The federal government could force people to volunteer but only with groups that they deem worthy. You'll be able to satisfy volunteer requirements with Planned Parenthood or ACORN but not your church or a pro-life group. This is all government control and a huge expansion of government.

From Obama’s original campaign, 50 hours of service required of grade school, 100 hours of service for college students (aka indoctrination camps) and all retired to be drafted to serve Obama as well.

It passed the house with a stipulation and all of you will be required to serve with this stipulation

Hr 1388 ‘‘SEC. 125. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.
‘‘(a) PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES.—A participant in an approved national service position under this subtitle may not engage in the following activities:

(1) Attempting to influence legislation.
(2) Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes.
(3) Assisting, promoting, or deterring union organizing.
(4) Impairing existing contracts for services or collective bargaining agreements.
(5) Engaging in partisan political activities, or other activities designed to influence the outcome of an election to any public office.
(6) Participating in, or endorsing, events or activities that are likely to include advocacy for or against political parties, political platforms, political candidates, proposed legislation, or elected officials.
(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted

ACORN already broke rule numbers 1 - 2 - 5 - 6. What are the penalties for them? Is the service voluntary or mandatory? I haven't been able to figure that out.

My husband is retired, does that mean he will be required to serve as well? I don't think so!

Same here. I don't expect anyone to show up to march me of to the 'job' they have chosen for me, but if they do it wont work!

America is a FREE country. Politicians work for us; we do not work for them! Please check out: www.ourcaucus.com/articles, a non-partisan video web site that will stun you with the information you need to save our country and our economy. All you will need to do once you have learned about our government is to join together, become activists instead of passive victims, and storm local, state, and federal politicians. You can join www.ResistNet.com, www.iCaucus.org, www.the912project.co m, or www.ourcaucus.com (all non-partisan) and if you are not motivated by then, you deserve what you get.

Thanks edieb5 for the information. The resistnet.com is a very good site and I've invited people from there to look in on this forum as well as check out the Tax Day Tea Parties that are being held around the country. We need to meet each other and swap ideas and information. Welcome to the forum.

Talking Re: Hr 1388 outrage

The present day Democrat Party looks like the "COMMUNIST PARTY" of the 1980's in
the former Soviet Union.

GOD HELP US !!!

qrayjack,

Communism, heck this is way beyond that

Subsection 136 and section 120 indicates this is mandatory. Section 1710 suggests a pilot program, electronic filing, RFID chips? Someone else pointed out that vaccines of their choice would be mandatory. Wow, I hope everyone is involved with stopping this.

I don't know how they are going to force me to volunteer, but they better bring their lunch because it is going to be a all day deal.

Even at my age I would be glad to volunteer. Of course I would be volunteering to teach the 2nd Amendment and self-protection with a firearm. Just the sound of 2nd Amendment and firearm scare the daylights out of Liberals.
