Default Beck: New Stimulus Projections -- At most 3.6 million jobs, while feds import 3.2 million new foreign workers

By Roy Beck
February 24, 2009

Two analyses of the just-enacted bill suggest that foreign workers will benefit from either 90% of increased employment due to the nearly-trillion-dollar Stimulus bill.

Or foreign workers will benefit from ALL of the extra employment.

Sound incredible?

Read on ....

1.2 or 2.5 or 3.6 MILLION MORE JOBS AT END OF 2010

A private firm, IHS Global Insight, has analyzed the package and stated the results in a webcast briefing. Instead of looking at jobs directly created by the Stimulus bill, IHS estimated how many fewer jobs will be lost in the economy overall.

Thus, the nearly trillion dollars of Stimulus money (borrowed from our children and grandchildren) will be used so that the U.S. economy will have between 1.2 million and 3.6 million more jobs at the end of 2010.
But the feds will have brought into the country over that time an extra 3.3 million foreign workers to compete for those jobs.
Looks me like we could have saved the trillion dollars, suspended immigration and ended up with the same level of unemployment.

Does anybody in government or the news media care?

A very good question, Mr. Beck. If our corporate entities are in such financial distress as most claim to be, and laying off workers, why would they still be hiring foreigners? That should be as red a flag to the press and Congress as their CEOs and CFOs granting themselves 7 and 8 figure bonuses. Where, indeed, is the moral outrage?

Many on this website are also members of NumbersUSA. Call, fax, write your members of Congress and get a halt to this immigration insanity while America is in economic chaos.

What gains come from any actions on handling our financial quagmire deserve to be shared by the taxpayers of this country... not those who bear no pain in our recovery.

This is just another undisguised part of the plot by the Dems to permanently take over the US and seal in their power for all time. And they can get away with it because they know the loyal, liberal, lapdog media will cover it up for them.

This part of their plan for conquest involves importing so many immigrants, both legal and illegal, that will vote Democrat for generations in thanks for the Dems granting them citizenships and providing them with free state care for all that they do. Thus the Dems are provided for an eternal voting base to ensure their power forever at little to no cost to them, financially or politically. It all comes thanks to Joe Schmoe citizen who has to pay the taxes.
