Default Patton: Barack Obama And The Culture Of Death

By Doug Patton
January 13, 2009

On January 20th, 47-year-old Barack Hussein Obama will be sworn in as the 44th president of the United States of America, with millions of adoring sycophants streaming into Washington, DC, to catch a glimpse of their idol. Two days later, somber pro-lifers will once again gather in the same city to observe another anniversary of the worst Supreme Court decision since Dred Scott, and to mourn the senseless slaughter of 50 million unborn babies over the last 36 years.

Oddly, if exit polls are to be believed, some people will be there for both events.

Barack Obama was a child when seven misguided old men in black robes gave us Roe v. Wade, an infamous ruling that invented a "right to privacy." Since then, we have become convinced that this right is in our Constitution. Consequently, Obama has never known an America that did not allow women the right to snuff out the life of their babies in their wombs. Courts and Congresses since then have agreed that there should be reasonable limits on the right to kill unborn babies, but our new president has a different view.

Mr. o's most visible policies have been distribution of wealth and murder.

BOTH policies are anathema to the American way of life.

Yet, most of our country, Catholics and others who are staunchly against abortion, elected him.

So did business people who work hard and create jobs.

Scary stuff.

We have all written about this before. When a society is willing to allow the unfettered murder of the most innocent among them, all is fair game.

It is no coincidence that morality in America is tanking and it started with Roe v Wade. It is simple psychology. This decision and the removal of school prayer have greased the skids for the downfall of America.

Kill a life as a "choice" is not a hard message to understand. It is not difficult to comprehend that life is meaningless.

We pass laws to prevent people from texting while they drive to prevent unnecessary deaths, but also pass laws that allow us to perform these gruesome procedures as easily as we were having a cyst removed.

That is message that needs to get out. Morality is failing because the sanctity of life has been demolished by liberalism.

Families and our churches need to take a stand.

He vows to sign the Freedom of Choice Act as his first official act as President. Doesn't it have to be passed by the House and Senate first?

Will the Blue Dog Dems be so beholden to Nancy and their re-election and their winning committee chairmanships that they'll vote for this?

Will the Senate Republicans even pretend to mount a filibuster? I'm sure we can count on the Maine harpies to help hold the line.

Our new President is not cool. He's cold.

Obama answered Rick Warren's question about when life begins by saying it was "Above his pay grade" to be able to answer.

The phrase, empty suit, has become common in everyday speech but that particular suit fits Obama perfectly. He has honed his elocution to a fine art but I have yet to hear a cogent thought come out of his mouth! By the way, "Hope" precedes disappointment and "Change" is all we'll have left by the time this empty suit is finished.

I would not put so much concern of the so called Christian right that voted for him they are not people who share our view on when life begins ,and as far as the election there will always be a cloud over it because of Acorn and as long as we have democrats in control the truth will not prevail . We may never know how much this election was stolen and this time it is true it was paid for and stolen at the same time, with outside money and a crooked outfit such as Acorn . I can only pray that the Lord will change his heart and his mind concerning the murder of unborn people. Yes babies are people to.

"The One" and his mesmerized followers constantly trot out, as Mr. Patton points out, that there is this right to murder by privacy in the Constitution and that the murder of 50,000,000 helpless human beings is consonant with the beliefs of the Founders and also the Framers of that wonderful Document.

Quote:
18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Rom. 1 (NIV)

How anyone who has ever read and claims to believe that "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness," (2Ti. 3:16), who can claim that Jesus is the Son of God and their savior, can align themselves with the Demon-ocratic Party is beyond me.

Quote:
Of all the dispositions and habits, which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of Patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of Men and Citizens. The mere Politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connexions with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked, Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths, which are the instruments of investigation in Courts of Justice? And let us with caution indulge the supposition, that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect, that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.

It never ceases to amaze me that to many people believe, fervently, that abortion is the answer to their problem of irresponsibility.
The liberal, socialist, democrat party has been fighting FOR unlimited and unrestricted "rights" to abortion for as long as I have been paying attention to them.
The majority of their fight seems strongly to be directed to all those ill informed folks who vote for them to remain in their positions and, who want those same "rights" to be affirmed for themselves which, in turn, causes the destruction of potential future voters who, if they were allowed to live, may just vote for the democrat party members due to their upbringing, background and being indoctrinated into the realm of socialist thinking.
Why the democrat party wants to kill off future voters is very much beyond me.
Why they want to kill off a future human being is also unknown to me and as shameful as anything else could be.

I simply cannot and will not accept and support such a person of evil as he is.
The evil that this person supports simply cannot be allowed to continue but things will only get worse.
I,too, am amazed that even Christians would vote for this Evil man. Hurry 2010 and 2012!
We've got to make a change.
