Default Reagan: Stimulating Bankruptcy And Chaos

By Michael Reagan
January 8, 2008

Like millions of my fellow Americans I want Barack Obama to succeed in governing America and reviving the economy, despite my opposition to his candidacy.

I had hoped that being the cautious man he appears to be, President-elect Obama would avoid taking extreme positions and policies vis-à-vis the economy and settle for the tried-and-true approaches to economic stability.

It appears that I was wrong. In an era when it is essential for out-of-control government spending to be halted and drastically cut back, Barack Obama wants to spend at least $800 billion on a so-called stimulus package which many predict will soar past a trillion dollars.

I can tell you where these new jobs won't be - CIA, FBI, DHS or other agencies tasked with keeping America safe. PEBO and his developing merry band will strip our defenses trying to make nice with people whos only goal is to destroy us. I thought PEBO stood for president elect barak obama but maybe it means pea brain obama. I don;t know why everyone says this guy is so smart, so far he's come across as a no-brained, talk out of both sides of your mouth, vote buying, slickster, lacking a shred of common sense.

Actually, I think quite a few of those jobs may go to the CIA, FBI, et al. They are going to need several hundred to monitor the citizens of our communist country. I am really worried about the direction we seem to be going; to hell in a hand basket. Has anyone had thoughts that there may not be another election in 4 years?

Cool Re: Reagan: Stimulating Bankruptcy And Chaos

You know, I would not complain at all if the new governemnt jobs were in the US Military, and the US Border Patrol, but you can bet your bottom dollar they will be exclusive jobs held by former geto residents who will collect their pay, whilst moving on up!

Ah well I guess those who voted this idiot into office are about to get what they wanted, the rest of us better grab our knees and get ready to K our wallets good bye.

Thats the same thought I had, if he wants to increase the Federal payroll, it should be in the border patrol, give better incentives for military personel so that the enlistment goes up and other types of jobs that help protect our country.

If these folks went into military service maybe many of them would come out much better for the experience. But of course that poses problems to our military. It is currently excellent and if you add to many of these types, don't know if enough training exists to be able to bring them to the standards they would need to be.

But then, the liberals don't like the military, so why would I expect that they would use it to help create jobs for some of these people. Just foolish thinking on my part!!

Just heard some excerpts from Comrade Hussein's press appearance this morning. Apparently, this nitwit thinks that reciting platitudes and magic mantras is 'governing' and presidential. After all, it's all he used to gain the White House.

The man is a dunce. He clearly has no idea about how the economy works. He needs to be asked over and over, "Name one country whose government ever spent it into properity." It's an historical fact that none have and it's a mathematical fact that it can't happen.

Every few years, however, someone tries to dig up Keynes' body, dust him off, and try to pass him off as an economic genius despite the fact that the application of his governmental overspending theories have always proved disastrous and very costly.

FDR tried to spend us out of an economic crisis and the result was the longest and greatest economic depression in history.

You have to wonder if Team Obama has any idea of what they're doing.

The obvious answer to that would be an unequivocal NO!

Hussein has no knowledge of even the basic tenets of economics or security and intelligence. In short, he is unfit to the President of the United States in any way, shape, or form. Yet we are stuck with him and his idiotic appointments and policies for at least the next four years.

To add insult to injury, we also have Pelousy and Reid in charge of Congress.

This is the coming of a long, dark night.

Will the country survive? That question is up for grabs.

My belief is that Obama was to pick these characters, so the new world order can be put into place.

the thought has crossed my mind--especially in light of botox pelosi's wanting to shut the repubs out of any legislation or input of legislation.

we will in fact be lucky if they don't try to stop an election in 4 years, but you can bet if they try that one there will be a military coup or a rising up of the general population over that attempt along with cessation by states from the union until there is an election.

I always wondered why the "tax and spend" liberals, and the democrat party, can't seem to realize that IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY YOU CAN'T SPEND IT!!
My income has suffered a major setback and I can't just go to my employer and take money from them, I have got to reduce my expenditures severely and forgo any new acquisitions since I just don't have the solvency I had before now.
Folks like these make no sense whatsoever thinking that the more funds they don't have the more they can spend.
Why have so many fellow citizens of this soon to be once great nation decided that their populist, liberal, socialist party is going to make their lives easier by giving away something they don't even have to give away?
I don't even have anything to give away but, I know I'm a lot more intelligent than those who think they are smart, I won't spend whatever monies I don't have.
Why is that such a difficult lesson to learn?
I do hope, fervently, that the ones who were voting their "feelings" wise up quickly so that our great nation can get back on the right track where everyone can live their lives as they see fit without so bloody much government intrusion.
