House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to re-write House rules today to ensure that the Republican minority is unable to have any influence on legislation. Pelosis proposals are so draconian, and will so polarize the Capitol, that any thought President-elect Obama has of bipartisan cooperation will be rendered impossible before he even takes office.

Pelosis rule changes -- which may be voted on today -- will reverse the fairness rules that were written around Newt Gingrichs Contract with America.

Well this should be interesting, heck if she isn't going to allow the other side to introduce anything well they might as well go home. I wonder if this will be the shot that strikes a cord in the American people or those on the right to divide the country even more, this might be far fetched but what wouldn't stop them from convening there own house and senate? Pelosi is disgusting. How did she get the leadership over many others that is the question. She is by far the most left leaning member in Congress. God help us. I hope Obama puts her in her place but she could be the answer to his prayers by allowing him to set his real agenda. She will not allow the Republicans to even try to cooperate because she feels with these new rules she does not need them. It's full steam ahead for the Democrats now. Hold on to your hat's and your pocket books.
