Default Patton: Shot To Death On Main Street

By Doug Patton
January 5

On that awful evening of September 11, 2001, my gaze alternating between my television screen and my computer screen, I wrote a column called "Now We Know How Israel Feels." In that piece, I retold the true story of Ken Rex McElroy of Skidmore, Missouri, a local bully who terrorized an entire rural county until, after years of abuse, theft, rape and attempted murder, a handful of Skidmore citizens shot him to death on Main Street in broad daylight. Recently, like those citizens in Skidmore, the nation of Israel had had enough.

Imagine that Canada, Mexico and most of Central America are run by fascist dictators whose sworn goal is the annihilation of the United States. Picture Canada as a leading sponsor of terrorism, as the primary supporter of a terrorist organization operating out of Mexico, and as a rogue state developing nuclear weapons in defiance of the entire civilized world.

Like I tell all of those people who insist that we just need to "talk".

If you try to give these terrorists a group hug, you'll probably get a knife in your back for your efforts!

Here's a quote that sums it up nicely.

The meek shall inherit the earth............... .......
...............a six foot plot above them!

After 9/11, most clear-thinking Americans understood that concept, too.

I'm happy you clarified that statement by using the phrase "most clear-thinking Americans" because many Americans, mainly Democrats, have conveniently forgotten what happened on 9/11.

When I was a kid, a neighborhood bully held a Robin behind his back and strangled it, while smiling at me. This is the contempt I feel when I hear/see democrats trying to talk like patriots.

For too long the U.S. and the West have tried to deal with our enemies by rule of law and have allowed those who neither recognize nor adhere to any law to hide behind civilized laws. Those who neither recognize nor adhere to the rule of law should not be allowed to hide behind them.

History repeats itself because leaders do not learn from it. They are unwilling, for the most part, to make the ethical choice between two unpalatable options. 1)Allow hateful cancers like Hamas to continue to exist and deal with them through diplomacy which will not and cannot stop the rocket, mortar, and suicide attacks; and 2)Wipe out Hamas and its supporters.

Quote:
On one side endless discussions about trivial points, no decisions taken, or if taken rescinded, and on the rule 'Don't be unkind to the enemy, you will only make him angry.' On the other, doom preparing-a vast machine grinding forward ready to break upon us!

The solution to the problems of Hamas and the Palestinians who wish to make war with Israel is simple.
Reduce the Gaza Strip to a large glass bowl with nukes or a scorched-earth policy and dare the rest of the Arab World to step forward.
These people will never be happy until Israel is no longer in existance and they certainly don't want peace with Israel. Why should Israel give them anything other than what they deserve.
Go get them Israel and the very best to you!

Angry Re: Patton: Shot To Death On Main Street

One thing is now certain. Israel realizes it can only appease so much & must then, take decisive action if they plan to survive. Every prey when cornered, finally responds & fights back, or dies. Death by failing to respond is pathetic. Death after putting up a battle at least provides for an opportunity to survive.
Israel is no angel in these affairs. Israel has played games w/ road blocks & other blockages to Palestinian movement. Then again, by creating such blockages, the number of suicide bombings has significantly decreased. Of course, that fence had much to do w/ that too!
Hamas refused to allow Egyptian Doctors, w/ medical supplies, access to Gaza. Obviously, Palestinians look more pathetic when dying w/ no help in sight than w/ Doctors trying to render assistance. Israel provides significant amounts of oil, electricity, food supplies, medical aid, & more to Gaza on a daily basis. International Food groups were told to stop moving food into Gaza because the warehouses were full. However, store shelves were empty for the camera's from Europe & other areas sympathetic to the Palestinian cause.
Former Rep. McKinney (sp?) was on a boat trying to deliver medical supplies as she sought media exposure. Yet the medical supplies were already available. The boat was rammed by an Israeli Navy vessel. The boaters claimed the Israeli's did it deliberately. I say, if they were acting deliberately, the boat would have sunk, not struggled into port!
Vigilante activity is something we must all try to avoid. It means the mob rules & often the mob is wrong. But to make this look like a mob action would be reprehensible. This is pure self defense. To claim Israeli's actions are "disproportionat e" to Hamas actions is also reprehensible.
The differences between the actions show who is justified in their actions. Israel responded to defend civilians. Hamas targeted civilians deliberately. Israel can aim & tries to target only military or terrorist locations or individuals. Hamas apparently cannot aim, but does its level best to hit anything at all!
Israel cannot destroy Hamas. They can substantially damage their ability to lob rockets & mortars in on innocents. Perhaps the Palestinian people will one day realize the road to peace, is to be peaceful!
Israeli troops are on the ground because when they failed to do so w/ Hezbollah in Lebanon, they were perceived as having failed & the Hezbollah as winners. This time, the aggressor will not think of themselves as victors, but as victims, & deservedly so.

No free nation can appease its avowed enemies, nor reason with terrorist fanatics. There is no possible negotiation with them. Like Ken McElroy of Skidmore, Missouri, they must be shot to death on Main Street in broad daylight.
And once committed to this action, you don't go halfway. As with McElroy, you pump the enemy full of bullets until he is dead.

I have long been a fan of Israel and its defiance of the odds and terrorists to survive, ever since I became politically aware. So I was very disappointed when they gave Gaza back to the terrorists in the name of the West’s “peace.” I always thought that was a horrendous strategic mistake. And look at the result. There was no peace, just more murder by the Palestinians. Like Al-Queda, you can’t negotiate with bloodthirsty maniacs with only one goal in their minds, the eradication of their enemy.

To them negotiation and cease-fires are just times to reload and rearm. They use those times rest, heal, and build up for the next attempt to bring down the enemy and they will never stop and never give up no matter how many times the West, mainly Europe, and the rest of the world makes Israel appease them. Anybody who knows anything about history, which leaves out most Europeans and all Dimocraps and Liberals, knows appeasement is nothing more than a cowardly act of surrender. Just ask Neville Chamberlain.

Israel is doing exactly what it has to do to survive, the Hell with the European Union and the rest of the world. They tried to be nice and play by the rules with the Arabs and Muslim jihadists and look what they got for their effort. In a game of survival, if you play by the rules and the other guy doesn’t, you’re going to lose. Since the Arabs don’t play by the rules, there is no reason why Israel should be forced to by an antipathetic world.

Europe is no friend of Israel, the UN is no friend of Israel, certainly the Arabs are no friends of Israel, so why in the heck should they listen to anything their enemies have to say? In reality, Israel’s only friend, and possibly the only reason Isreal still exists, is the US. I wonder how much longer that will be the case with a US president called Barack Hussein Obama.

Having learned it painful lessons, both in Lebanon and in withdrawing from Gaza in exchange for fictional “peace,” Israel should reconquer Gaza and then reoccupy it until Palestinian terror is no longer a danger to its existence or its citizens. In effect, that would be forever. Or at least as long as there is an Israel and there are Palestinians.
