Default Kincaid: Obamamania On The Right

By Cliff Kincaid
December 3, 2008

On the Fox News program Hannity & Colmes Monday night, analyst Dick Morris made the absolutely critical point that President Bush has taken the country so far to the left, in terms of his socialist-style Wall Street bailout program and his integration of the U.S. economy into a new emerging international financial order, that anything Barack Obama does in this area seems almost mainstream. This is because what we were expecting from Obama we are now getting from Bush. So Obama doesn't look so radical anymore.

Based on Obama's associations and influences, which we can document over most of his life and career, one must realistically conclude that he is a revolutionary Marxist. One of his more troubling associates, as we at AIM have written about for many months, is Anthony Lake, a Democratic Party foreign policy specialist who made headlines by doubting whether Alger Hiss, the United Nations founder and a U.S. State Department official, was really guilty of espionage on behalf of the Soviet Union. Lake is not a figure from Obama's distant past; rather, he has been one of Obama's closest foreign policy advisers for the last two years. In the 1980s, he had controversial ties to the pro-Marxist think tank known as the Institute for Policy Studies, which was dedicated to the establishment of revolutionary Marxist and anti-American regimes in Central and Latin America and elsewhere.

Democrats have control of both Jouses of Congress, they controlled the Wall Street bailout as well as the ecomony for the last two years. President Bush signed the bailout, but he did state he did not like doing so.

Bush is still responsible, whether he "liked" signing or not. If he did not feel right about it, then he shouldn't have done it: It's called Conscience 101.

I saw the spot on Hannity & Colmes and also an article that hasn't been covered by the media concerning President Bush at the G-20 economic summit.

While the President signed the bailout, it was the Democratically controlled Congress that rushed it through while screaming that the sky was falling, and covering their backsides in their complicity at making the whole mess in the first place. Now they're preparing for a second act with the big 3 and possibly a third act with the state governments....

Unhappy Re: Kincaid: Obamamania On The Right

The bailouts are a mess. That Paulson has no real control over what his staff is doing & that he is unsure what he is doing (as evidenced by his changing strategy & policy positions on an almost daily basis), is beyond pathetic.
Bush came in as a "compassionate conservative." Well folks, whatever that was supposed to mean, it now means, "I am not a conservative at all, but a big government policy wonk who will push a globalist agenda for all its worth since I figure my family will be one of those who profits from that plan."
In the end, much of what President Bush has done does not reflect a conservative agenda & while many stood by him since he was the president & he was a Republican, I think historically many will regret they supported him.
His failure to commute or pardon Ramos & Compean, plus his silence when Sutton used a gun law designed to prosecute criminals who bring guns to commit a crime & not law enforcement officials whose guns are required equipment for the job to lay on serious felonious jail time on those men, showed Bush is a true globalist who is willing to create political prisoners to placate his buddies in the globalist movement. (The North American Union issue may or may not be real. But, that we would have such an entity & drop our own constitution in favor of a new socialist style one, is frightening to me.)
Obama's appointments are part & parcel of the movement to redefine what is left, what is right, and what is centrist. We are being told by all the talking heads Obama's Cabinet picks are "centrists." I say, they are leftists who the media & others on the left are trying to sell the public as centrists. These folks are dedicated leftists & anyone who thinks their positions are centrist is a fool! Obama is pulling off a coup of sorts by changing the discussion away from his policies to who do we like versus who do we dislike.
Worse is that Republicans & especially conservatives are being setup to look like nasty attack dogs, who depend on the Christians & gun owner public (the public Harry Reid said smell up the Capitol & new visitors center when they visit Washington), for their support. It sure looks to me like we are being systematically discredited & eliminated from the public discourse, as part of a plan to create only a leftist thought process in America, where social & racial justice is much more important than the rule of law or facts on the ground! Say goodbye to the Constitution which the left used to get what they want, but who want it eliminated because as Obama says, its oppressive, and the left wants to be able to have flexibility as they recreate America, in their mind & eyes!
God help us, our political, media, academic & business class are not!
